The notion of Disney remaking this in 3-D, and permanently buying up the Beatles catalog and remastering the tracks for Broadway, repulses me.

The notion of "psychedelia" in "ultra realistic CGI" defies the meaning of the word psychedelia.

Consider this one fact: the totalitarian monsters in this movie wear Mouseketeer hats. A little comment by the British animators of this classic little psychedelic film.

When I was 8 yrs old I had this on casette. I watched it twice a day, and memorized all the lines and songs and everything. I even brought it to school one day and made the teacher play it on the tv, for the class to watch. Everyone thought I was weird, because I kept singing along XD
