I love to hear happy transition experiences. I try to have a positive outlook like you do too because the happier I am with it the more okay others seem to be with it. I wish everyone could learn to be happier. Makes things that much better. (^~^)
Meghan, in your next video would please wear something that shows you body shape now that you have been for quite a while on hormones? I'm curios to know how you have changed since you posted you first video.
Lol, ummmm, no. You can see enough of me in my videos. My body hasn't changed all THAT much really. I mean I'm thinner and my upper body is a little less bulky than it was, but it isn't like I have this uber-feminine shape that I'm dying to show off or anything.
lol Ok. BTW who is the surgeon who did you FFS and why didn't you have it done in Thailand where it is much cheaper? I might have my done with your surgeon (I have to save the money first), because the result is fantastic. About your voice, what kind of training or therapy are you doing cuz your voice is also very feminine. I have shown you to many of my friends and none believe you were once a boy! You look great. Keep the videos coming. :)
Dr. O. was the surgeon. Cost wasn't the most important factor to me, results were and I wanted Dr. O. to do my surgery more so than anyone else. I'll do a video about voice soon :)
Hi Meghan,I am hoping to make some more videos from me tamsin in cornwall.I get very isolated here so your programes on depression help me.I would be interested in the books you read. Its getting a bit warmer here .thank you meghan hugs lol tamsin
For what it's worth, you're a beautiful person both inside and out, and the heartfelt honesty with which you tell your life story only helps to convey that. If more people, trans or not, took a cue from you, this world would be a better place for it.
I really like this video. I am motivated to do videos for the same reason as you. To help trans peeps who want to see someone talking about what they themselves are going through. I remember how powerful that was the first time I came across such videos and blogs. I hope that you do not find reason to stop making videos anytime soon. My videos are off to a rocky start but I hope to be as confident as you are about them soon. Thank you! :) Hugs
I am 9 years older than you and I am sure that my life would have been totally different if there was videos like yours when I was 20. Thanks for sharing your story. KInd regards
Things you spoke of that I feel exactly the same way:
I do videos to try to help others that I wish I would have been able to watch at 20.
I havent been offended by a single question about trans on youtube or in person. Any question asked offers a positive learning experience.
I am happy with all my ex's successes.
If something happened to me tomorrow I'd be fine as I too have had a full life.
Being happy in my life is one of the best ways to educate others on being trans.

I do find that writing things down in my diary (which is for me and my therapist) or my blog is cathartic (my blog address is in my profile).
