I can't imagine getting Pete on a song just to play bass because as much as I love him, he's not all that good xD nor is he a good vocalist. I've been listening to blink since pre-enema and i'm a huge fan of all their post-break up projects. Personally "all the small things" sucks. Tom left first, but thats obviously because he wanted to play stuff more like AVA. mark and travis wanted to play more like +44.

Uhm, they didn't put him in a position to "choose his family" over blink, If you recall, as soon as he left blink, he started A&A so all he did was leave blink to do something different, and, tom and mark started blink, then recruited scott to drum. Tom didnt do it all on his lonesome, marks sister knew tom through high school, introduced them, then they formed blink. And mark did leave blink for a girl, but it was before they became blink 182. They were playing local gigs when he left.
