If youre worried about being shot down...you probably shouldn't be a military pilot :) Best to get your helicopter private and build hours after you get your fixed wing add on. Airplanes cheaper.
I want to become a pilot, but it's too expensive as a civilian. How hard is it to become an army pilot. Also, what are my chances of getting shot down.

i am a civilian helicopter pilot and i had lasik and have no complaints at all. i have perfect 20/20 vision....its awesome
