All these guys, Rennie, Capes, and Maddison are incredibly gifted. But, the difference between this 253 foot jump and Maddison's 322 foot jump is that Maddison landed on a dirt ramp, as you mentioned in the description, that was much larger than Rennie's traditional ramp. I prefer the traditional ramp jumps and I think Rennie still holds the record for ramp to ramp (as opposed to ramp to dirt ramp). Nonetheless, all these guys should be applauded.
true i agree with you, dirt ramp would be much easier, but theres another australian guy, LIKE ME!!!!! not maddison but another guy whos attempting 360 ft on new years eve, i cant wait! he says that all the maths and sciense adds up so it should be possible
