I went to Roscoe's Chicken And Waffles the other day and we had a black waiter take our order which makes it authentic, But I glanced over at the kitchen area and was expecting black people cooking the food, instead, I saw Mexicans in the back cooking it. So I ate my food when they brought it out, it tasted good but to me it wasn't soul food anymore. I just want my food to be authentic, it doesn't matter what it is! funny video, makes sense

Pumpkin, you may be right about the white people but the best Chinese food I ever had was from this little place in my hood called Mama's Chicken and Fish and it was owned by an Asian family but who was in the kitchen? Mexicans! And it wasn't some Chinese-Mexican fusion cooking going on, but serious Chinese food! And the Chicken? Don't get me started on the chicken...sh*t. It's closed now (I miss it so) otherwise I'd tell you to check it out next time you're in Chicago.

Yeah, I didn't see white folks there, but last time I was a Swen's I noticed Mexicans working there. Ain't right. I rarely go there, hate the place, but it is infinitely better than Lai-Lai's. I hate it when I see a white person working in a Chinese restaurant. Best thing to do man, is just don't go back. Chinese food isn't as good as it used to be. I loved it when I went out to a Chinese buffet and saw all Chinese guys working in the back. Especially when ordering Chinese food.
