That guy looks like a walking tank. I see the comments about pyramiding, but he sure looks healthy and very strong. Notice how high off the ground his underside is the whole time? Now compare it to most other tortoises and they are usually much closer to the ground. This guy is a brute of a specimen. Do you sell any like this? How much would they each be? My Florida Box Turtle got out, when some idiot construction guys left the gate open, so I am looking for a new turtle.
ok first of all your leopard is pyramiding .secondly never keep different species of tortoise together!! they pass diseases so keep them in a seperate room
@dav3thetort I have 37 Species of tortoise all living in the same household with 24 hour acess to the back garden. These have cross mater several times and are all happy and healthy and have been since 12 years ago in 1999 when I started collecting. I have never had any trouble selling the young either because people find it very interesting comming across a cross bread tortoise (especialy when its obvoiouse what species are in it). Dont insult other peoples ways if you have no clue about them.
@SNxSoul Leopard tortoises are hard to raise in captivity without slight pyamiding. Ive seen leopard tortoises with a lot worse pyramiding than this tortoise.
I don't understand this comment. In what way is it bad for them?I have kept reptiles all my life and have had up to 4 different species of tortoise living together.
