I really liked how the car stayed in the same orientation from the "ramp" until touch down. did you load up the truck with sand bags or was that just how it went "by accident".

It's probably because the "ramp" stayed the same grade for such a long time. The suspension was already unloaded, and the grade didn't change from the time the front of the car left the ground and the back left the ground.
