Apparently the soundtrack of this has been rereleased as part of a set, with Anneke Wills doing the narration duties. Colin Baker can't SPEAK without audible italics and well-rounded vowels.
As much as I enjoy this. Is there any where I can get these missing reconstruction episodes free? This is great but I don't think Who fans should have to pay money for this, unless reconstructing costs that much money...
All of the wiped episodes are missed of course, but some are definitely missed more than others. The Macra Terror's four episodes are very high on my list. It had a wonderfully subversive script and (from the few surviving clips) looks superb. I'd almost even take this over finding episode four of The Tenth Planet... almost.
This is a pretty good recon. But there are a couple of weak points.
(I'm gonna be a bit annoying and nit-picky here. Sorry.)
This story is unique for having the Troughton-face opening titles with the Hartnell music. Your recon hasn't given us the chance to see that, and just skipped to the episode title.
You've also used a pic of Polly in her old hairstyle in scenes after her haircut. And it would've been nice if you could've found different pics of the Doctor for clean & for scruffy.
Don't worry about being annoying or nit-picky any feedback is appreciated.
To your first point. I don't actually have the titles on my computer as of it so I couldn't include it. I agree it would have been nice to have.
Second point. With no fancy image editing software and limited sources for material I used what I had. When I get some practice in and get some more material I may come back to this and edit in some new images.
I knew there would be fans who'd find the little errors :D

Totally amazing. Where on Earth did you get all that footage? Thanks for posting - great memories.

Colin Baker did a great job narrating this story.

When I saw the Macra on DW with David Tennant, I thought that was the first time they used the Macra. I really wish this hadn't been destroyed.
