Hi Janko good rendition of a great song by great Joaquin. In my opinion it is however supposed to be played more fiercely throughout the entire composition so it should durate about 2 minutes only. Otherwise you´re a magnificient player !!! Listen to Norbert Kraft´s rendition for instance. He is a genuine classical guitar devil......
Darkembrace. Sorry for the confusion. I meant that most classical guitarists miss out the flamenco feel (which I think is necessary) in this particular piece.
Compositionally it is not a great piece of music, it requires a certain spirit and in my humble opinion, I think this performance brings out what is so very necessary to make it alive.
I am a classical guitarist btw, but I agree with your comment, this does have a little of both. I guess we all win when we get to hear this for free.
Thats because classical differs from flamenco playing. I really don't think most classical guitarists miss anything. Just a different style. But this piece has a little of both so it's really nice.

Fantastic performance. Very clean and precise but with that flamenco spirit that most classical guitarists miss out for some reason.
This is, without question, my favourite rendition of this piece.
Thankyou.

5 stars from me.
Completely different from other interpretations I have heard..AND THAT IS GOOD!
I love the different characteristics you bought to each section.
I follow Glen Gould's idea that if you are going to play something, make sure it is not like a previous interpretation someone has done...
or to be more blunt fuck the current trend of scrutinizing everything and tying to make it all adhere to one pompous interpretation :)

it's really too bad that most classical guitarists don't play this piece with a flamenco spirit.
