Hiking Wildwood Park (Thousand Oaks, CA)

It's about 5 minutes from Cal Lutheran. They used to film old westerns in this park.

I love this park!!! Hiked there so many times. Even did the overnight with the rec center. Multiple night hikes. This place a good spot in my heart. I think I've been on all the trails.

@MrCmisch Thanks for the comment. We have a very dry climate. We have a beautiful Spring bloom that quickly turns to brown, dry brush due to the heat. I am envious of your lush forests jumping with fish. Thanks again!

If you had been in TO since the beginning like my folks had, then you would understand. The city has changed MUCHO!

grew up in TO. Wonderful place. Great place to raise a family and wonderful people. I visit the Reagan library like everyday lol. Had I grew up in another city, I would not be the fine lawyer I am today. The city next door, Westlake Village, is not so great. Tons of Benz driving liberals with little to no class.

The best part is i live in a community with a private trail that goes STRAIGHT to the waterfall, and then to everything else so if you just want to go to the waterfall you can =D

Sampson, do you live in Thousand Oaks? If so, I think I know the trail you are talking about. I just wasn't aware that it was a private community up there.

Yep, i sure do! the community im talking about is Lynnmere. It's behind lynn ranch :) theres a downhill trail next to the park which takes you to the waterfall=P
