I'm not gonna hide my beliefs because they might be offended when I can't even go into a restaurant without hearing g-d this and eff that. We have to take it so they can too!

@HisloveisRain I think you have the wrong aproach. Being a "Christian" doesnt save your soul. I know people who run around claiming to be a christian yet their actions dont line up with their words.Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and believing he died and shed blood on the cross for you is what saves you,not labeling your life with a title. You shouldnt say "convert or you'll go to hell.." instead we are to share our testimony and share the gospel. share the LOVE of God.

@caileydawnosaur I'm sorry that I gave off that idea. I know many people today are claiming to be Jesus Christ just as it says in the Bible. And many people are deceived. it just makes me want to run the race harder and beat the devil down so I try harder for more souls

@HisloveisRain I dont mean to bash you, I'm just saying from personal experience that it isn't really a good approach if you're trying to help someone give their life to Christ to tell them that they need to convert. Instead just tell them how much God loves them, and let the Lord do his work from there :)

@HisloveisRain If you're a Christian just so you get out of hell thats a pretty hollow existance. Be a Christian so God can have the treasure of his work, because you love him, Because he's changed you, made a difference in your life. Not because you want to get out of hell.

@7StrangeFruits I don't know if you did. You may have said something that told people to be a christian so you don't go to hell. I don't remember it. My comment wasn't about putting anyone down ut was just to create conversation and make a point. alot of christians became as such for fear of hell but if it doesn't change then they either backslide lose jesus or are hollow.

@7StrangeFruits No "Christian" who is a Christian just to get out of hell is actually a Christian. The question to ask yourself is...Can I get to heaven without loving Jesus? The next question is, when He says "He who loves me obeys what I command"...can you still answer? Peace and Grace be with you.

@shadow2501 Sometimes its not that easy though, what he commands isn't always clear cut. for example drinking, I know lots of christians who drink and have amazing fruit in their ministries. I choose not to drink. I've heard that if you try to get into heaven just to get out of hell you get accepted but your works get burnt up and you don't get much in terms of reward.

@7StrangeFruits We are told that we need to fear the Lord. I have been there. I was hot+cold, on and off (backsliding, attending church but being indifferent). Then God called, I followed. My pursuit changed from being getting into heaven, but to forming the relationship with Jesus.

"The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom". Since God is wise, obeying God is wise.

Salvation is never of us, but all of the spirit.

@reallynow37 Probably because they don't like labels. People tend to throw the word "christian" into a religion.. Its not about having a religon, its about having a relationship with God, and most people who aren't saved dont really understand that. I don't even call myself Christian anymore..although I am, I just say that I am a Christ-follower.

'I Love You Lord' is a Worship sound that has been around a a few years I think. A lot of people cover it. But it is not their.

Now like the user before me, Justice and Mercy is their song, but supposedly will NOT be on the new CD coming out in August/September.
