  • Failed at catching crawdads.. let a real texas boy show you how ts done.

  • what i do is i take a pantie hose and put a hot dog in it and they kind of get attached to it so they cant really run away.

  • crawfish are good to eat boil them in salt water then put butter on them! YUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMM!

  • Crayfishes, Crawfishes, and Crawdads pretty much eat everything they can find.

  • where's the Crawmaws........lol

  • Wat did u use for bait? it looked like a hot dog kinda, or some type of meat :/

  • Lol their cute.

  • There is a canal near my house and when it dries out you can just flip over rocks and find one or two under each rock. Then we pick a few up and put them into a container with some water and cook 'em and.. Yuh guessed it EAT them

  • I catch em with a fishing pole. I put a worm on a small hook jig it near spaces between rocks. When one comes out I wait until it starts eating the worm then I quickly yank it out of the water. It works good.

  • Look yummy!!

  • you want to make a trap its way more efficient

  • I like how they tuck-and-roll into the water at 1:11...both of them did it and one before :-)

  • Give a man (or woman) a fish and you feed them for the day. Teach a man (or woman) how to fish and they sit in a boat and drink beer all day

  • People in the US do things like this? I am amazed. We in Japan do the same, too. I as a carp angler use them as live baits.

  • @tnakai1971jp yeah its really fun! i'm from Illinois, and i remember going under this old stone bridge and catching crawdads when i was a kid. the local baitshop would give me a piece of candy for every one of them that i found. good times :-)

  • @diabloxscorchox

You use them as a bait, too? For what fish? We use them for carps and for striped beak fish.

The indigenous ones in Japan has been marginalized by the American ones. American ones are bigger, harder, and more aggressive.

  • @diabloxscorchox oh we use them for bait to catch largemouth bass. we don't really fish for carp too much over here. carp get really big, but people say they aren't very good to eat because they're bottom feeders. lol, id eat them though.

  • @diabloxscorchox the best fish to eat is a bottom feeder catfish that is

  • Fishing IS fun! Great video.

  • Best combo is get a opora house trap, or the other box shaped one, Get Some liver, brains, heart put it in a blender blend it up and tip a little bit on the edge, they get a scent then throw ya traps in with some brains or liver or whatever you want, and boom.

  • Liver on some cordage works every time chicken bones too.

  • Comment removed

  • does that mean silencio in your language--you tax evading bean

  • good stuff

  • LOL WHEN IT GOT IN IT DID BACK FLIP like ninja

  • lol

  • ass hole

  • what part of the river is this

i mean like around what city?

    is it in texas?

  • yer u could use a net... but trust me catching em 1 by 1 is more fun :D

n plus some nets r illegal so yer

  • you know you can use a net and catch about 5oo of them thangs instead of catching them one by one

  • I Want It

    How much is It?

  • Same Technique works for crabs here on the coast.

  • Invading crayfish such as the American freshwater crayfish can be eaten, to lower

the population. The Rusty crayfish is an invading crayfish too, buy cant be eaten, since it might get you sick. If its a cambridae crayfish leave it alone, it is native and it needs our protection... I like it that you catch and let go, but eliminate the american and rusty crayfish.

  • good job, the crayfish we catch are small but they still pinch, we catch em with our hands

  • Them so good eating.

  • thats a rubbish way to catch them, what i did was go in with wellies on and a huge broad net and i caught loads.

  • i used to catch them and put em in my fish tank

  • We cook and eat them :) has to be caught in nice fresh water though, no pollution or it makes you extremely ill.

  • why r u catchin these things for

  • if u catch a good sized one and u break off the tail and claws then u can boil and eat them and they taste just like lobster because crayfish and crawdads are actually small freshwater lobsters, so if u catch about 10 or so good sized crayfish then thats the equavelant of a middle priced lobster dinner :P as for water, if u catch them and boil them in tap water or bottled water then u should be fine but if ur boiling them in the river water then thats not too good unless its ULTRA clean

  • i can catch crawdads in the creek behind my house but there smaller than that

  • I like to find them in Lake Wallenpaupack in Pennslvania (it used to be a river). I flip over rocks and catch them with a net. After I catch a bunch I let them all go where I found em.

  • i just set a plastic container in the water and get them to back into it

  • I had a friend who would catch crawdads by using a rake. He would rake in some algae from a lake to the shore, and there would be about 20 crawdads stuck in the algae.

  • what is the bate?

  • i think its like worms and hotdogs

  • I've gone fishing and crawdadin' on the Rio Grand; also called the Rio Grande, which means the great or grand river, and in Mexico, the same river is called the Rio Bravo, which means tough or aggressive river.

  • yum.

  • what part of rio grande was this at??

    cool video!!

  • That was really cool!

  • let them pinch ur boobs.(nipple) feels like heaven

  • i let them pinch and hold on me cause iam not a pussy

  • nice mudbugs ya got there....couple hundred more and you'll have the makings for a good boil...

  • obviously not from where ever your from, i'm guessing your from the south, and one question, why do you say yall from the south when your talking to one person?

  • DRAPPLEJUICE, why do you say "your" when you are supposed to show a contraction of "you" and "are" and type it as "you're" and not as "your" to show possesive? WHY ARE YOU BELITTLING SOMEONE ELSE WHEN YOU HAVE SPELLING MISTAKES OF YOUR OWN? You also typed "i'm" when you should have typed "I'm," as the personal pronoun "I" is always capitalized. Let me tell you, I studied grammar and I still make misssstakkkes tooo...opps! People type mistakes all the time; who cares! Chill...no one's perfect!

  • You know, alicephrontistery, you're right, I did make a mistake, I'm sorry, but that still doesn't answer why southerners say yall.

  • DRAPPLEJUICE, you're beautiful to say you're sorry. I never correct anyone's grammar, accent, lack of education, nor clothing UNLESS it is deliberately hurtful to others; I guess I love the underdogs of this world. First time I moved to Tennessee, most people would say "Y'all" and "Well, ah neva!" and supper instead of dinner. An old preacher told me that Jesus (Christ) called it supper (last supper) and in the Bible, the Book of John is written with "you all" (contraction is y'all). Peace.

  • Where the fuck are yall from?Crayfish? It's Crawfish or crawdads.CRAYFISH!Yall should be catching "Gayfish."

  • crayfish,crawfish, you fish, I fish....you give "yall" a bad name.....mudbugs, they are....

  • Nice bongo music! I like to "fish" for them in the dark in shallow puddles, using bacon. Turn on the light and snatch them up!

  • i like to make the crayfish fight thats fun

  • Now, i need to find some crayfish to catch!

    Where do you get crayfish?

    =

  • we have a trap we build for catching them.. set it out today, and it will be loaded tomorrow

  • We call em CRAWDADS in the south

  • MUDBUGS, lol....

  • i go in there just with my hand sits easier

  • You use hotdogs for bait???

  • @fluffyducky25 today just about an hour ago i caught 4 crawdads ing 25 min. with hotdogs as bait. but raw bacon works really good i just didnt have any bacon

  • That was really cool!
