Ive got one but got a slight problem, the battery lasts about 3 hours on standby, all i do is use the email and text and call, never really use the web browser or any of the other features but still the battery dies in about 3 hours which makes it impossible to ever do any work on it.

@WatermanInk X10 Mini Pro has a very small but useable keyboard, the Desire has just an on screen keyboard, if you're after something for messaging, you're much, much better off going for a form factor like the E90, or a larger slide out one.

I think e90 is better than the newer e71, same ram, same dual core processor, but better usability because of the screen, better keypad, better camera, better video playback. I prefer this rather than the kid's toy iphone or the plastic bb's. e90 is a great phone.

Nokia shouldnt have wasted money on the exterior. The phone would have been good enough just leaving the exterior blank. then when you open it you have a brilliant inside. would have made it look like a cute mini laptop.

I'd say that stating iphone is all-around worse than E90 is taking it a bit to far. Sure, iPhone is a fairly narrow-purposed device, but well built and its ergonomics are fantastic. Sure, it's way to expensive for what it can do, but then Apple has always been expensive.

E90, on the other hand, lacks a touchscreen interface and it could definitely provide more RAM for its price. The application choice for S60v3 is subpar, mainly due to Nokia's paranoid licencing system. Cont'd...

Now that a used E90 costs as much if not more than a used Xperia X1, despite my respect for this piece, I am having second thoughts and considering Xperia instead. Why? More applications, faster CPU, more RAM, has touchscreen, I don't have to crack the OS to install and test software I write. Unfortunately, xperia lacks the toughness of the build and the IR port which I think a swiss-army knife device like these two should have. If E90 were 50$ cheaper, I'd go for it.
