No offense to Dave but he sounds Beaned Out "pill poppin". cool project though, when i do mine imma just goin to mount the motor dead to the floor of the boat and put the steering console over top of it if I can....tryin to save space for fishing gear and people
I just picked up a 13.5 foot fiberglass boat that needs an engine, got some good ideas from this, how ever I plan on taking the engine OUT of the Jetski and putting it in the boat not putting the jet ski in the boat lol. I plan on using mine for running up and down Rivers for fishing/hunting and need all the room I can get.
What an unnecessary waste of space - all you needed to do was just put the engine in - not the whole jet ski. Wait until you have to service the engine!
but seriously. I have a 12 foot valco v-hull I'd like to convert to a jet. Gathering information stage for now. Don't need it to be fast, just functional, and comparable to a 15 horse outboard would be fine with me. Or, may be a little faster... hehehe
