you hold down your power button and home button at the same time until your ipod touch/iphone has a black screen

than AT THE SAME TIME you hold down your home button and plug in your ipod touch/ iphone and keep holding down the home button until the itunes symbol and cabel comes up..click restore and it will restore your ipod touch/iphone back onto your itunes..this will reset it and you'll loose everything but it's the only way.

BSD, that is the BSD sub system that controls all the app data. Thats a very basic way of Jail Breaking the iPod touch. Ha, you got pwned by BSD!

If you put it into restore mode, and i assume you have sme kind of app on your computer that reads the data as an externam device, so i would replace BSD with cldia (i think its called that) and it should work fine

Meh, I did a home+power button restore and it seemed to work afterwards.. Gotta love the user friendlyness.. I would have NOT been impressed if i had a sadmac on my ipod :@

Elo mate lol. Hold down the home button and the top button for like 60 seconds, and keep doing it until it goes back to restore mode.. Or restart the flash process and it *should* work again.. just keep playing with it until it works lol

I just ran the tool again and it seems to detect it was in firmware flash mode.. Or you can turn it on, then hold the home button and the power button for 60 seconds, do that like three times and it reverts back to safe-safe flash :D
