Hehe by the look of her face, I doubt Tarja even knows who Dio is. Pstch... Ronnie James Dio is only the godfather of power metal and the inventor of the DEVIL HORNS OF ROCK!!!

You can tell that Marco is heavily influenced by Dio in his voice, but I think I like Marco a little bit better. =)

Tarja should at least appreciate Dio. Nightwish would be in an entirely different genre if it weren't for Dio (Although power metal can also be attributed to Judas Priest and Accept, IMO).

I enjoy listening to Marco more than listening to Dio, but Dio definitely is a better singer in terms of sheer technicality. But Dio is still one of my favorites to listen to. I love all those classic metal singers.

There's so much about people arguing which singers have "better technique", especially among the classical singers in metal. I could care less what their technique is, as long as they sound pleasing to my ears. haha
