I gave them my trust. We gave them our trust that they would do Warhammer: Online to THE game. But they just gave up and let Warhammer die. And that made me very sad..
I have been doing some research and it takes about one week of gameplay to get to max lv in warhammer online, that is why i left WoW, im not going to play 150 hours to get to the max lv in a game. And when you reach max lv they have a new expansion or new equipement that makes everything you had useless, that is why i dont play MMORPG anymore they consume to much time.
I play WoW and i can honestly say that in lvl cap it gets boring for PvE. PvP is fun at lvl cap and it's almost all i do. Since i like PvP i lean more towards Warhammer. However, i also play warhammer 40k tabletop so i am a hardcore fan of the games workshop games. maybe this bias is what makes me like warhammer more. idk. bleh.
Blizzard was actually made by a bunch of guys from Games Workshop. They split because they all wanted to make an MMO but the higher ups were still busy laying out the whole Warhammer universe. So, when they separated, the newly founded Blizzard looted about every new innovated idea that GW had and tweaked them as to not be brutally sued upside the face. Thus why Zerg=Tyranids, Orcs=Orks, Undead=Chaos, Protoss=Tau and Eldar, Terrans=Space Marines, etc.

WAR is best, first thing is that WoW is too long and when you got a level 80 i dont feel like i wanna make a new character (i must admit i havent got to level 80 i ended with level 15) it was so boring and then they should do something with the classes when you change class i mean in character creation it only changes the cloth like if you look on the dark elf warrior and then think that you dont want it and then changes to warlok it changes from armor to cloth

The reason why so many people passionately argue about this is that, no matter whose side you're on, WoW felt a little intimidated. Looking at the (frankly) better graphics engine, character creation and PvP/RvR, they saw a competitor. The only reason WAR hasn't done better is that people cling to the increasingly dated WoW, convinced that it is still the best.

To me warhammer takes it. You dont have to bind keys, the pvp is awesome and the rvr is amazing. The PvE may not be great but they make up for it with RvR and PvP. The character creation is very great. Orcs actually look like orcs. I mean if you want a simple yet great game, go with warhammer. To me Wow is just to complicated.

Played wow for 4 years, each datadisc was bacskstab for core players. As a fan o warhammer lore I tried war. I love rvr (not pvp-this games isnt about pvp). If you want to play PvE (dungs, raids...) roll wow. If you are tired of lack of action, terrible attempt to make pvp, and always the same raids, join war. War has low population compared to wow. But it seems ok to me. We do not want any "players" from wow to spam channels how war sucks and wow rules cuz they do not know how to rvr...

I did run back to WoW twice, first time was because of friends, second was a cataclysm, NEVER DOING IT AGAIN. Biggest (gaming) let downs I know are from WoW, just.... the horrible monotony of it... at least WAR allows one to move between pvp, rvr, pve, instances, and whatever else I have missed due to DOMINATING rvr

I've played wow for about 2 years, and played WAR for about 2 months. I will say WAR has the better PVP by far, but WoW is improving. Either has it's advantages, but when you have 11 million people in a game, it creates a real economy, something you can't do with limited players like WAR. An entire aspect of wow is professions and supply/demand. There is a reason why there are so many chinese gold farmers.
I am wow pvp player, i played and still play wow for about 5y, and i played warhammer online only trial, and for what i saw i would give my vote for warhammer, but if i had to vote best pvp game, i would wote Mount&Blade>Warhammer>WoW

IMO WAR is a much better game, the RVR is friggin amazing. Unfortunately the game is dying, and has consolidated the servers so a lot of players can well... play with each other. WoW just outproduced WAR. WoW is a good game, but it is a chore to even log in to it now. WAR has never been like that for me. Try WAR out, free unlimited Trial, you cannot knock it before you try it...
WAR is more a pvp game, if you like pvp, obviously u will pick WAR over WOW because WoW's PvP is kinda boring. But on the other hand, if you dont like pvp, u might pick WoW over WAR because of WoW's raids and dungeons.
@Djenteism You know that you don't have to play on a PvP server right? You can play on PvE servers and that crap won't happen... I have to say that is a rare occurrence because most lvl 85s don't want to waste their time on killing lower leveled players.
tried WoW many times and got bored after waste all my patience while allies was raiding at low level quest places, that's ridiculous to make low players go through situations like this and i cant play anything without PvP situations, but party of lvl 85 to kill just one lvl 40 is just childish, and i will try WAR asap

WAR has very balanced pvp because the classes are balanced for PVP unlike in WoW. Yes a KotBS will take forever to kill, but thats how they are supposed to be. The pvp in WAR is absolutely amazing. Do not knock it

The fact of the matter is that WoW is the better game soley for the fact that it beat out warhammer. Warhammer's community was mostly wow players, and they all quit and went back to Wow. That's gotta mean something right? WoW's PvP is no more unbalenced then Warhammers, with bright wizards owning every other class, melee is also pretty much useless in warhammer. As most of the game is a giant zerg. WoW takes a lot more skill due to the lack of concentrated open world battles, and arena.
When I heard what came from this video I just went "wait what?" i'm playing the warhammer trial right now and already I can tell pvp is better, story better, blizzard you suck for ripping their ideas off.

Wowc is the better games hands down. Ive played both Warhammer online for 5 months had the same weapon for 20 levels and to my understanding and from what ive heard should go free. And played almost every free and paid mmorpg out there. Reason why I keep going back to Wowc the truth is Wowc has been the biggest succsess out of any other mmorpg ever because Pvp is more intence more action and better gameplay... @LetumFilms Except for the better graphics, the darker color, the lack of toony looking characters... in fact Warhammer came around far before anything warcraft related did. The art style for WAR came from their earlier franchise table top game which Warcraft 1 basically ripped off after being denied rights to make a warhammer game... just saying give credit where credits do.
The gameplay in war is also heads and shoulders better, it was just to late to get the addicted audience away.

I have to say that the wow guy didnt really give support to his thought process at all. He just said there was more at the end of wow, that he likes wows graphics more ect, but couldn't give enough supporting reasoning as to why he thought that way. People always seem to forget that WoW didn't have a massive market leader to compete against when it launched initially and was able to make mistakes without losing half their player-base in the process. Every game which comes out now has to come out as polished as humanly possible to just stand a chance at carving out their own independent base.
Added to that, WoW has been able to take and integrate successful aspects of other games (like WAR's RvR) without risking their own market position.
Warhammer would have a much better fate if ti launched in a much more polished state. Sure WoW had a MUCH worse launch than WAR, but people who play WoW have pretty high standars for new MMOs. FPS issues, unbearable lag in open RVR, insane gear differences between a guy with 40 RVR gear and someone with maxed out RVR rank, pretty much discouraged people, and since PVE was non-existant, its just ended up being an RVR rank grind fest at end game. They fixed many issues, but it was too late.

I played wow, went over to WAR for the pvp. But after 3 years of war i grew tired of it and the hope that the game would get a turn and be more than the pvp. But since nobody gave a shit about the game i went back to wow.
@TheGforce222 Because Blizzard has sytematically knocked out all of their competition. They created the top mmo and it's still the game to beat. When new mmos come out they might as well realize, that blizzard is controlling the market and that their game will be a failure if they got nothing new to offer. People want blizzard to have competition, so that they can stop slacking at the customer support part.

The reason why so many people passionately argue about this is that, no matter whose side you're on, WoW felt a little intimidated. Looking at the (frankly) better graphics engine, character creation and PvP/RvR, they saw a competitor. The only reason WAR hasn't done better is that people cling to the increasingly dated WoW, convinced that it is still the best.
Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Warhammer is based on a miniatures game called Warhammer Fantasy by a company called Games Workshop. Needles to say, it has been around longer than WoW, and it seems like many of WoW's Ideas are taken directly from it. Starcraft, another Blizzard game, also shares a striking resemblance to another mini game by Games Workshop called Warhammer 40,000. Looking at things objectively you can see that Blizzard has never had an original idea and has become more famous than GW by ripping them off.

To me warhammer takes it. You dont have to bind keys, the pvp is awesome and the rvr is amazing. The PvE may not be great but they make up for it with RvR and PvP. The character creation is very great. Orcs actually look like orcs. I mean if you want a simple yet great game, go with warhammer. To me Wow is just to complicated.

Played wow for 4 years, each datadisc was bacskstab for core players. As a fan o warhammer lore I tried war. I love rvr (not pvp-this games isnt about pvp). If you want to play PvE (dungs, raids...) roll wow. If you are tired of lack of action, terrible attempt to make pvp, and always the same raids, join war. War has low population compared to wow. But it seems ok to me. We do not want any "players" from wow to spam channels how war sucks and wow rules cuz they do not know how to rvr...

I've played wow for about 2 years, and played WAR for about 2 months. I will say WAR has the better PVP by far, but WoW is improving. Either has it's advantages, but when you have 11 million people in a game, it creates a real economy, something you can't do with limited players like WAR. An entire aspect of wow is professions and supply/demand. There is a reason why there are so many chinese gold farmers.

IMO WAR is a much better game, the RVR is friggin amazing. Unfortunately the game is dying, and has consolidated the servers so a lot of players can well... play with each other. WoW just outproduced WAR. WoW is a good game, but it is a chore to even log in to it now. WAR has never been like that for me. Try WAR out, free unlimited Trial, you cannot knock it before you try it...

Really? WoW as the better game? I'm sorry, ive played WoW for quiet awhile now, but i fell in love with WAR about 5 levels in, and i couldn't leave even if i wanted too. WoW on the other hand has very bad pvp. Heck, thats all i due in WoW is pvp and it isnt that good.
WAR has very balanced pvp because the classes are balanced for PVP unlike in WoW. Yes a KotBS will take forever to kill, but thats how they are supposed to be. The pvp in WAR is absolutely amazing. Do not knock it

The fact of the matter is that WoW is the better game soley for the fact that it beat out warhammer. Warhammer's community was mostly wow players, and they all quit and went back to Wow. That's gotta mean something right? WoW's PvP is no more unbalenced then Warhammers, with bright wizards owning every other class, melee is also pretty much useless in warhammer. As most of the game is a giant zerg. WoW takes a lot more skill due to the lack of concentrated open world battles, and arena.

Wowc is the better games hands down. Ive played both Warhammer online for 5 months had the same weapon for 20 levels and to my understanding and from what ive heard should go free. And played almost every free and paid mmorpg out there. Reason why I keep going back to Wowc the truth is Wowc has been the biggest succsess out of any other mmorpg ever because Pvp is more intence more action and better gameplay... @LetumFilms Except for the better graphics, the darker color, the lack of toony looking characters... in fact Warhammer came around far before anything warcraft related did. The art style for WAR came from their earlier franchise table top game which Warcraft 1 basically ripped off after being denied rights to make a warhammer game... just saying give credit where credits do.
The gameplay in war is also heads and shoulders better, it was just to late to get the addicted audience away.

I have to say that the wow guy didnt really give support to his thought process at all. He just said there was more at the end of wow, that he likes wows graphics more ect, but couldn't give enough supporting reasoning as to why he thought that way. I will admit wow has some things on warhammer, but I had played wow since vanilla to cata, and i have loved the evolving journey it took me on. But, sadly wow is old and is starting to die. People always seem to forget that WoW didn't have a massive market leader to compete against when it launched initially and was able to make mistakes without losing half their player-base in the process. Every game which comes out now has to come out as polished as humanly possible to just stand a chance at carving out their own independent base.
Added to that, WoW has been able to take and integrate successful aspects of other games (like WAR's RvR) without risking their own market position.

Warhammer would have a much better fate if ti launched in a much more polished state. Sure WoW had a MUCH worse launch than WAR, but people who play WoW have pretty high standars for new MMOs. FPS issues, unbearable lag in open RVR, insane gear differences between a guy with 40 RVR gear and someone with maxed out RVR rank, pretty much discouraged people, and since PVE was non-existant, its just ended up being an RVR rank grind fest at end game. They fixed many issues, but it was too late.
