i like Ronnie McDowell's country records. He's a great artist. He does a very good job on some Elvis songs...the best thing he ever did was THE KING IS GONE and the soundtrack to the Kurt Russell movie. I've never felt like "WOW" he's just like Elvis, because he's not. Ronnie is best when he's doing his own thing but unfortunately everybody wants to hear Elvis from him.
RE:beetlejuice2001, I agree with you 100% but also if you have time, listen to Ronnie's tribute of Elvis's "THE WONDER OF YOU" and then listen to Elvis's. OMG, I thought for a second it was the same voice. Absolutely wonderful singers
WOOOOOOOOW I didnt think any one was ever as good as Elvis, but wow. Ronnie has always been a fav of mine, but never heard this song from him until now.
I've seen him twice... Not doing the E tributes but all his own songs. One thing he did do was introduce a song as written by Charlie Daniels. Then went into "It Hurts Me" Damn the man can sing.
While Ronnie certainly sings a great Elvis Tribute, he is so much more and anything he sings is so smooth- glad he didn't make his career on "Elvis" as many have said- many hits and still going song, Ronnie, rock on!!
Have seen ronnie in concert several times. The first time was with conway twitty. Ronnie was to be the warm up band. But stole the show!! I couldn't believe how the women screamed as if he were really elvis when he sang an elvis song!! This man is great!!
Have seen ronnie several times. He has a great voice. He has excellent songs. The kentucky headhunters did a good job backing him up. And every one he has since has also been great! He keeps very talented people with him, and gives them all a shot at singing. His shows are not just singing, but also a show!!
This is so cool!

Ronnie is the only one who is really close enough to sound like elvis and theres not really that much of a differnce between to the two of them.

@beetlejuice2001 Ronnie sounds more like Johnny Mathis than Elvis. I've heard better Elvis tribute artists.

@beetlejuice2001 I know this is old, but Ral Donner is very close, and had some good songs of his own.

One of the few who can get away with performing elvis songs. Good job.. And he doesn't try to look like Elvis.

Mr. Csrter,
Thanks for the video. Ronnie is soooo
fantastic. He's one of the most under-
rated performers alive. Please post
anything else of his that you can.
