Which brings up another point. John Connor wouldn't exist without Reese. So there had to be a different reason for Kyle to go back and he couldn't have been sent by John.

They took a more realistic approach with this movie rather than plaza rifles, this is right after the nuclear war, that stuff wont exist for another 10 or 15 years in this time line anyways. I like the approach though, the world looks more like a post nuclear world compared to the other films, like a mad max type of world. I'll see it.

Actually according to the prequel book it's on the drawing board, Skynet is working on them for the HK's. And the Plasma Rifles being the standard for the T-800's whom the Prototype T-RIP's are just showing up for the first time in the Skynet Future um Shit

at 1:37, when the terminator hits a humane, that scene is made to look a lot like from The Terminator. The mition of the cyborg...nice :)

What model terminator is he? It looks like he has a rib cage like some of the much earlier T-600 drawings. He's obviously not a 600, no rubber skin. The 600 in this movie looks like the old T-500 drawings. Anyway, the terminators look badass in this. They're actually fast and agile rather than slow and mechanical. Then again I guess there's only so much they could do with an actual prop endo in 1 and 2.

I thnk the similarity is limited to the fact that the terminator doesnt know he is a terminator, just like certain cylons dont know they are cylons. I spotted teh similarity also, but I'm sure BSG and The Terminator weren't the first to have this idea.
