@KEKO789456123 that's just to make sure the video loads in high quality, but you won't really need that anymore, the two apps I talk about do that automatically, if you select a HD setting.

If one is using Mac OSX Lion, one will need to ALT (or option key) + double click the link in activity.

After playing around with it, I've figured out how to do this using Windows and Safari. If you click the link in the Activity window, it will open a new window with the video fullscreen but to download the video, hold down CTRL and ALT at the same time and click the link. It should work! :D To watch the flv file, use VLC player which is a free player available online. You can also download a converter if you wish to transfer it to a device. Good luck guys!

since i have a mac i know how to do this only for macs: it will save as a flv file.. and u can dl an app to play flv files such as adobe mp or vlc but u cant put the flv file on your ipod or mp3 player. also you cant just "rename" the file and add .mp3 or etc. you will have to use a converter.. you can dl most youtube video mp3s easily.. but using this safari-flv method to dl youtube mp3s should only be used for tough videos protected because its under an artists name.. which is illegal.. btw ;P

If you are on Window's press (Ctrl + Alt + A) to get the activities screen and when you click on the link inside the activities screen hold down (Ctrl + Alt) and then double click it. This will start the download.

if you add &fmt=18 to the url you can download the video in HQ

if you add &fmt=22 to the url you can download it in HD

and then follow the same steps as the video shows you.

Try holding down the option key while you double click the link, it should download an mp4 file instead of an flv.
