  • My drama class is doing this exact thing, except the one in a chair will be a girl who also dances, and the class will be backing her up, in our talent show. :]

    I'm the mother. x]

  • @CassidyErinn awesome .. you will have a great time with this show. . all the best and "break a leg"

  • lol this is wicked gayyyy

  • Was an Amazing Production to see in Canberra ACT... Well done Wonsworld... see you for breaky one day

  • I heard a couple of years ago that Roger was going to back some sort of production of The Wall for Broadway.........Little news since then..that I've heard. I take it this is a part of the show, but that the entire thing is still in development?

  • @195511SM thank you.:-)

I had heard that he was going to do a Broadway show too. The story keeps on popping up every now and then (it was even reported in Mojo a few months ago). But this video was staged specifically for our show and not part of Rogers Broadway version (he did approve the libretto though).

  • Genial ! Danke !

  • this is called trascending space and time. and thats what happened with TW. We might find faults and details, but certainly is a good job and a way of honoring one of the greates musical master pieces of the XX century. It no longer belongs to PF or RW, now belongs to the world, and for sure will keep evolving.

    Good work

  • i agree... WTF!!!

  • wtf

  • i apologize, i forgot to read about why there is midi music playing in the background

  • i do have to say though, the one playing Pink does a great job on his part, you could tell he really got into it

  • That was heartfelt and emotional? I felt nothing from this performance, the emotions of anger, fear, depression, and loneliness aren't felt, listen to the original version from the album, it has so much powerful emotion, plus whats with the midi instrumental in the background? felt like a bunch of people from the street were asked to perform this, especially whoever is playing Pink's father, it seems as if theyre simply singing it and nothing more, good physical emotion but the voices dont match

  • And the woman in yellow has very strong and harmonious voice...

  • They're singing very emotionally and heartfeltly, very good cover! 5/5 stars

  • Thank you very much . everyone put their whole heart into the production

  • IT SOUNDS LIKE A MIDI :|!!!!!!!!!

  • it is midi.... they can afford fancy lights but they can't afford to have a real band?

  • Actually... we did have a real band .. this was a rehearsal that was filmed with the cast only and we used a midi for the purposes of the publicity. *read the info*.

When and if I get the time, I will add a montage of the show, including the band.

  • what's the deal with the "MC"? I have a feeling he sings "In The Flesh" in this one.

  • when I scripted the book of the show I needed a character to sing the "observational songs" that could not be given to the rest of the cast. I chose the MC (as used by Floyd to introduce the band) but created him as Pink's inner demon that was after Pink's soul. I used him to create the delusions in Pink's head. The "fight"sequence here, shows Pink's family vs the MC and "hangers on" fighting for Pink's soul (The rag doll) . It made more sense when you saw the whole show LOL

  • what songs does he sing? I'm trying to figure out what observational songs are on the album. Too bad the whole show wasn't filmed. It would have been cool to see in it's entirety.

  • This blows.....

  • err.. he wasnt supposed to be bob geldof

  • is the version tht waters is writin 4 broadway?

  • No. He has been working on that for years and hopefully it will one day see the light of day.

  • wtf?

  • fukin dyna fukin mite mate:)

  • thanks. . wish I could show the real thing with full band and not a midi

  • wtf is this!? lol

  • Staged version of the show...

  • i love the imagery of them all pulling at the pink doll, all wanting him to go there way, and all there ways completely different

  • WTF?

I'm not sure what to think about this? I love Floyd; and "The Wall" is one of favs, but I'm not I like this???

Btw, the midi tracks sound like "guitar pro." haha

  • yeah the midi was nothing like the band.

I wish you could have seem more of the show. A lot of Floyd fans that came loved the idea of how it was done (and the show in general).

    Thanks for the comment

  • hermoso

  • gracias :-)

  • -shakes hand in noncommittal way-

  • ridiculously quiet version.

  • Unfortunately the day the news crew came was the day off for the band so all we had to use was a rehearsal midi. Nonetheless, it conveys the general feel of the show

  • great!

  • Wow. Thank you for posting. I saw the wall interpreted by the Beijing dance troop in Los Angeles a couple of years ago... I'll never forget it.

  • Schade, dass ich nicht da sein konnte!!

  • I wish I had seen it
