That is an Ariel Atom. It comes with a honda civic engine which is supercharged to make 300bhp. That's stock. If he put a hayabusa engine inside, he must have gone for the turbo engine, and modded, because a stock busa doesn't make more than 300bhp.

that is an Ariel Atom, however it comes with many engine options. like a honda VTEC or EcoTech with superchargers, busa, or a V8. they are very easy to have made any way u want.

its definitely still an Ariel Atom. the guy may have bought it without a motor and threw in a busa motor cuz he had one, or cuz they are relatively cheap (as far as engines go).

slow, the hayabusa is actually a much smaller, less powerful engine. about the only advantage is that it would be marginally lighter.

Only the ones sold in the usa. The ones sold in europe come with civic type r engines and soon there will be a 500hp Atom with a supercharged RST-V8.

Look, that's not a Honda, it's got a Honda motor from the factory, but it's not a Honda. it looks like he's put a 'busa engine in there. Why, I don't know, but to each his own.

I'd have put one of those 'busa v-8s in it, just to have fun. Though keeping that K-20 would be easier.

Yeah, it was an Atom. The spoiler was added on too, which was smart, seeing as a car with that sort of speed would need the extra downforce.

As for the engine, like urinnerchild said, it was probably some tuner's pet project. I wouldnt be surprised to see some idiot trying to fit it with a V8.

looks like an atom to me, being prop driven the hyabusa engine probably wouldn't be to tough to install although why you would swap the two is a mystery to me when the honda engine is so much more torquey

But there's more horses in a 'Busa engine. Also, higher revs. With turbos, you could do a lot more than a Civic or Cobalt engine.
