  • she said I was dreaming . . . but that can't be right I wasn't asleep.

    wow. really.

  • @AngelJuliet OMG!

  • So far this has been really interesting, I'm sorry but this Alucard is neither menacing or alluring. I guess watching Lee and Lugosi can spoil a person, you expect every vampire be like that.

  • @pole52 It's actually a bit closer to the folklore of vampires. Their hypnotic powers are supernatural and not based on looks or elegance. They were supposed to be rather repulsive creatures in fact. His rude way of announcing himself seems to reflect that animal nature.

  • @Pilaf1984 I Get It

  • 302 "Pooh-pooh the idea?" Are you kidding me? lol.

  • 8:30 - the dude can hover over water -- looks a little stupid when he gets into the car (hope he didn't get his cape caught in the door)

  • @CTHULHUSURVIVOR Poor Count Dracula

  • 3:24 -- Don't call me 'Shirley'.

  • Thanks for the post. This is great; besides the fact that all the black actors have to be buffoons.

  • @dewayne408 Unfortuately that shows the pervasive racism in Hollywood of the times. The days before Woody Strode, Sidney Poitier and Jim Brown broke the streotype. Thanks to them came RIchard Roundtree, the late Ron O'Neal, Fred Williamson, Jim Kelly and now we have Michael Jai White, Wesley Snpies, Morris Chestnut, Don Cheadle, Samuel L Jackson, Laurance Fishborne and the godfather Morgan Freeman!!!

  • @theman2017inc There certainly was little roles available to blacks at the time in Hollywood--but at the same time we can't judge the actors who took those roles--that was all that was available to them. Hattie McDaniel, Stepn Fetchit--et al--fed their families, bought new cars--didn't have to be REAL maids/porters because they got these roles. Keep this in perspective in our more enlightened times!

  • @theman2017inc Yes, it is racist. But we are looking back in superior hindsight from this enlightened age and passing subtle judgement on black actors who had no other recourse for acting roles (the system, yes, should be slammed). It was better to have a paycheck than not work at all--and some made good money. Better to act a maid than WORK as a maid back then.

  • @dewayne408 see my post to 'theman 2017 on this racial matter
