  • Haha I love it, at the start; 'it's very affordable'. This dude clearly has too much cash.

  • @sullivan113 Compared to an H8000FW it's "very affordable!"

  • I know its pretty fucking expensive but im definatley gonna buy one if i have the money.

  • Alan, you could easily pass for Paul Stanley. But I'm sure you've heard that before. 8)

  • He has to play a 30 Min. Set .. such awesome Chill-Out ~_~ (^^)

  • yeah really affordable..... :O

  • 579 is not "affordable to the average guitar player"

  • I could be biased against this product because I did a demo in a store with their timefactor and modfactor pedals which turned me off. There was a cold digital feel to those pedals which this space reverb appears to unfortunately possess (though this demo is not so good in isolating what the pedal is contributing and what the other gear is contributing). I ended up buying EH cathedral reverb, no regrets, did not know about Strymon pedals at the time of purchase. For myself, Strymon rules...

  • much prefer strymon pedals hands down, parameters are only part of the story, warmth rules

  • im torn betweeen this and the bluesky. and blueksys modulation mode is so beautiful and the space reverbs blackhole mode is just out of this world. what do you guys suggest? im mainly into making ambient music btw

  • GAS attained...WOW!

  • Viewer warning: Make sure and turn your volume down before the end of the video, the music at the end is f-ing loud.

  • I've never liked the sound of a Gibson Melody Maker until now. Hrrmmm...

    Also, DO F*CKING WANT.

  • the guys at eventide must be huge Star Trek fans

  • Hi Alan!

  • omgomgomg that has to be THE reverb to have on your pedal board! nothing less then that unless you get a rack lexicon!

  • Curious how the shimmer sounds with a lower effects mix... wonder if the octave up is as strong.

And nope... Eventide wasn't the first for Edge's shimmer. Was a combination setup of an AMS delay and Yamaha SPX-90 with a funky mixer.

  • He's playing my old amp. Ha!

  • Should be interesting to hear a few more of the algorithms. From what I read into here, Eventide are trying to push that they were the first to have shimmer. Just in case Strynom's bluesky gets too much attention. I'll need to play around with it to see which is nicer to my ears. Great thing about Eventide has always been the complexity of sub menus.
