I could be biased against this product because I did a demo in a store with their timefactor and modfactor pedals which turned me off. There was a cold digital feel to those pedals which this space reverb appears to unfortunately possess (though this demo is not so good in isolating what the pedal is contributing and what the other gear is contributing). I ended up buying EH cathedral reverb, no regrets, did not know about Strymon pedals at the time of purchase. For myself, Strymon rules...
im torn betweeen this and the bluesky. and blueksys modulation mode is so beautiful and the space reverbs blackhole mode is just out of this world. what do you guys suggest? im mainly into making ambient music btw
Should be interesting to hear a few more of the algorithms. From what I read into here, Eventide are trying to push that they were the first to have shimmer. Just in case Strynom's bluesky gets too much attention. I'll need to play around with it to see which is nicer to my ears. Great thing about Eventide has always been the complexity of sub menus.
Haha I love it, at the start; 'it's very affordable'. This dude clearly has too much cash.

Viewer warning: Make sure and turn your volume down before the end of the video, the music at the end is f-ing loud.

omgomgomg that has to be THE reverb to have on your pedal board! nothing less then that unless you get a rack lexicon!

Curious how the shimmer sounds with a lower effects mix... wonder if the octave up is as strong.
And nope... Eventide wasn't the first for Edge's shimmer. Was a combination setup of an AMS delay and Yamaha SPX-90 with a funky mixer.
