  • haha, one of the posters say''shit is fucked up and bull shit''. what if they really put that on tv.

  • Does it come with riot cops?!

  • this is so weird yet so awesome

  • lol...even comes with that authentic zucotti park smell!!

  • this is sick

  • I love that it comes in Arab Spring! Sounds like a brand of deodorant.

  • I need two sets aswell

  • I'll take 12.

  • so they are legit?

  • would have been funnier if the final word would have been 'injustice!'

  • @Ratonga

mmm....nah it's fine the way it is :D

  • Where can I buy?

  • must...kill...cops...

  • 46 people pepper sprayed this video. And I want a leggo tentmonster edition.

  • Awesome video!!

  • Hahahaha this is the funniest video I've seen in a whike

  • i want a sign that says shit if fucked up and bullshit

  • I laughed so hard!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love it when then Police truck goes crashing through the library. These guys have way more fun than real cops.

  • I WISH I HAD AN OCCUPY WALL STREET LEGO SET!

  • @halycon...go fuck yourself. Ifyou cant see the freedom and tolerance given to OWS assholes then pleeease leave me country if you are here...or the occupy lego PD will give you ULTIMATE JUSTICE!!! Lmfao..

  • @blkk100 no need to troll him, also go fuck yourself for hating on him because he knows his shit as for you, everyone has freedom and ows people have a tolerance level as well and they just want there homes to stop being foreclosed on by banks and assholes like you to stop giving in your money to bail out banks but you go buy a house a see for yourself how difficult it is to own a house. i bet you wont be saying the same thing lol facetious republicans.

  • greatest thing ever, thank you

  • I always thought Lego needed a protest-edition. As a German, I basically thought of anti-nuclear-power-demonstrations.

  • This is already a rip of because the just descised the name

  • Looks like Iran gives more Freedom to its Protesters than America does.

  • @halcyon0830 you realize that the iranian government killed hundered of demonstartors last year

  • @fff

"HUNDREDS" is an Absolute Lie, I think you got Bahrain and Egypt mixed with Iran, Iran lets protesters protest, some were hit when they stepped in front of oncoming security vehicles, and American Media was calling for a War with Iran at that point, but the American Media makes the Occupy Protesters look like the Enemy, and Cheer on when they are Oppressed and Assaulted and Jailed. USA Gov was trying to manipulate the Iranian protests (most protesters were protesting against US Sanctions)

  • You know that a political movement goes defunct after parodies like these start circulating.

  • @FruitarianSwimster Oh, is that how it works? Please give example

  • Wtf

  • W.T.F

  • Capitalism is fine, free enterprise is the best system, until it runs amock and stacks the deck. Capitalism doesn't care about running out of raw materials in a few decades, or whether the workers have a good life, etc. Capitalism hates free enterprise, it tries to become a monopoly if it can. Government provides the only regulation that keeps capitalism from becoming a feudal system, it's the only thing to keep free enterprise working. Without it, we're in a Lord of the Flies situation.

  • @IwasBirchyFirst Lack of oversight and regulation allowed corporate greed to reward bank staff for creating loans to people that didn't have the income and savings to affored them. (7x the commision of safe loans). Lack of oversight and regulation allowed those same banks to take a big chunk of the bailout that YOU and I and our children will pay dearly for, and paid themselves HUGE bonuses. Free enterprise is good when it works, crony capitalism destroys the American Dream.

  • @IwasBirchyFirst One half of us are now officially poor or almost poor. 50%. That's the system that you foolishly defend. Unless you make over $250,000 a year, you are suupporting the thing that is eating your lunch. We have unemployed professionals being supported by food banks. Because unrestrained capitalism ran amuck. One of the strongest economies is Germany. They have captalism, a VERY robust middle class, but they are tightly regulated.

  • @IwasBirchyFirst Their auto industry is 100% unionized and they pay their workers 2x what we do, and sell around 3x the number of cars that we do. When someone is kicking your ass, you need to take a good hard look at what you've been doing wrong, and fix it, not regurgitate the same old lies the GOP's been filling our minds with for 30 years. Trickle down, doesn't.

  • @IwasBirchyFirst

Germans also save well above 10% of their income and have for decades. What happens when an average person saves back their income? It appreciates. Comparatively for the past 30 years, Americans spend every dime they make on more and more electronics and various goods. That means that the lower and middle class do not earn a return on their incomes, unlike the Germans.

Additionally, we don't have unrestrained capitalism. We have crony capitalism.

  • @IwasBirchyFirst

I'd suggest going back and looking as to why banks gave out such loans. They gave out loans to unqualified people because the government told them to. Look at the charter of the Community Reinvestment Act. Additionally, the banks knew the government would back their toxic loans and ball them out. In a free market, the toxic loans would never have been made. In fact, until CRA, they had measures to ensure toxic loans weren't given out.

  • 39 people are riot Police with too much pepper spray.

    OWS FTW.

  • Well now I have my birthday gift all picked out.

  • You should have to send in to get UC Davis Pepper Spray figure.

  • 37 people dont know where the like button is.

  • This is so wrong on many levels, and none of you know what this movement is really about judging from these retarded comments.

  • @Zanins

So what exactly is the movement about? Every time I ask someone, I get another answer. I don't think people within the movement know what its really about.

  • I love this.

  • Hell fucking no, Ron Paul is a reactionary, and his political standing is completely orientated towards the interests of the corporate, capital elite.

Capitalism is bankrupt and unable to meet the needs of the global masses, and all the politicans are bourgeois, so we won't fix this by the ballet.

"or you're a fucking idiots". Opposite case.

  • @KammeratGak Do you have any idea what capitalism is? I think you are confusing it with "crony capitalism" and "corporatism". Free markets are the only thing that can help the people. Higher taxes and regulations make small businesses impossible, big government and the Federal Reserve make Wall Street bailouts possible, Obama-style. That could never happen in a free market. Ever. Do your research, Paul is the solution.

  • @TheAndyChandy

    I do.

Good answer, but the centralization and bureacratization that happens around in the economies, is inherent in the dynamics of capitalism itself.

That's a bit simple-minded; the classic liberal theories on free markets etc., are no longer adequate, because the capitalist economy has developed since the 19th Century. We're at a stage where the wealth and production is owned by increasingly fewer and larger corporations. Small shops will just be eaten up

  • @KammeratGak

And how do these fewer and larger corporations exist? Socialism. Governments place restrictions on business which favors bigger and bigger businesses. As regulations increase, so do costs of operation and ownership, which makes business more capital-intensive.

Capitalism - true capitalism - discourages large corporations, as they becoming increasingly inefficient and prone to failure against smaller and more mobile companies.

  • @MrTurdFurgeson Great comment..Someone that actually understands true capitalism

  • @SDjeffg

Thanks. I own a small business that is competing against Fortune-500 companies. I did so with no significant capital requirements because its an industry that the government doesn't control (yet). You'd be surprised how much market share you can take from a billion-dollar company with a few ideas.

The problem is that heavy restrictions for business and industry discourage such entrepreneurship. Its why (in general) internet-based business are flourishing - few regulations.

  • @KammeratGak

Last I checked, the biggest and most powerful, monopolistic entites have all been due to government. For example, the largest monopoly to ever exist was the British East India Company. It was given a government charter and the crown intervined to ensure its monopoly.

Additionally, can you give me an example of a specific industry that has been monopolized in the past ~50 years with no competition?

  • @KammeratGak

For example, look at the car industry. Its controlled by very few players that can deal with the insane compliance costs. Because of the compliance costs required by the government, smaller companies do not exist, and any new startups require funding by billionaires. Look at Tesla Motors - such a company required huge seed investment from Elon Musk. Why? Compliance and regulation costs.

Compare that to internet businesses which are unregulated which spring up daily

  • @MrTurdFurgeson

Removing barriers and regulations won't quite save the small enterprises (only on some ends). If you look at it, around the countries with regulated capitalism (i.e in Europe), laws and interventions are actually (or used to) used as means to hinder monopolies, and create a certain safety net.

You are right that governments hand out to businesses and make restrictions.

But socialism doesn't hand out to corporations, it nationalizes them and struggles against them.

  • @KammeratGak

Can you give me any examples of nationalized companies that actually reduced the cost of service to the populace? In America, such efforts have failed abjectly. For example, our Postal Service is losing billions a year, paid for by taxpayer money. The government allows them to have a monopoly, shutting down any competitors. Our education system is the same way - with similarly disasterous results.

Again, give me examples of nationalization that worked.

  • @KammeratGak

Small shops are eaten up because capital requirements become higher and higher in a non-capitalistic society. For example, if due to regulation it costs a million dollars to start up a restaurant, who do you think will build a restaurant in a city - McDonalds or mom & pop? Capitalism and the reduction of regulations encourages small businesses, not discourages it. Look at cell companies in the US - small carriers are getting squashed not by Verizon, but the FCC's regs

  • @KammeratGak Every president and candidate we have now is more so towards corporatism than Ron Paul. lol

He's the lesser of any evils we have to choose from.

  • @Zanins

You are right that no other presidential candidate represents an anti-corporate stance either, but a neoliberal candidate for austerity, deregulations and wiping out any piece of safety net, is no opportunity for a social movement that has arisen because of such miseries.

  • @KammeratGak Capitalism is broke? And Government can step in and fix it? You realize capitalism is what pays for the government to run.. every dollar they use is a dollar taken out of the private sector. I understand libs have their own math but really?? Capitalism is the ONLY reason the world is like it is today. Cars, Planes, Computers, TVs, Cell phones.. and on and on and on are all products of capitalism.

  • @SDjeffg

No, I don't expect states to go in and "fix" it - the system itself is bankrupt and won't be solved by reformism. The financial market has generated tons of fictive growth that won't or can't be supported by a corresponding consumption, when the vast majority of wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few percent.

  • @SDjeffg (#2 due to space limit)

Well of course I know those are all products of capitalism, that's irrelevant. Billions on the planet are facing deep attacks on their living standard, can't make ends meet and are impoverished to pay for the profitability of a superwealthy elite.

  • "Get a job!" I have started my day with a good solid giggle.

  • Attention all Occupiers! Vote for Ron Paul in 2012, or you're a fucking idiot.

  • complete with tear gas......to funny..."occupy my night stick" OMG still laughing....it is very Nazi-esque. Satire saves.

  • @gondymognad buddy, look up how much was spent on hollywood films last year

  • I so wanna see the Arab spring set video lol This has satiated my lego love for another few days :D

  • how much for the Arab spring lol

  • @MrWatchmen759 couple barrels of oil?

  • @Pilitaseveready what are you talking about?

  • Pepper spray not included.

  • |IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

  • OMG OMG I SO WANT THIS FOR CHRISTMAS!

  • Those who dislike are hippies

  • What I've noticed from the LEGO Congress (tm) is the Pelosi parts won't fit the Boehner ones...and all the LEGO people point at the Ron Paul LEGO guy and laugh.....

  • This made Christmas much funnier

  • It nearly made me fall of my chair with laughter! Far too short, going to have to step it through a bit at a time to enjoy it all fully. Very good satire. However the chilling fact is that the Nazis did actually produce kids toys with a theme like this - just search for "Juden Raus" :(

  • haha god when they smash through the library..

and i love the tiny guy fawkes masks

  • Can't wait for the Lego FEMA camp set ! LOL !!

  • This is pure satirical sarcasm and is poking fun at BOTH sides... the use of unnecessary force by the police and the smelliness of the peaceful protestors.

What do you expect if you are sleeping in a park without facilities? You make due with what you have in order to keep the movement going.

  • I can't wait to put this set next to my Batman set!The Goddamn Batman is gonna crack some hippie skull!

  • Wait, people taking this seriously are on our side?! Maybe they're suffering trauma. It's a very professional looking clip with excellent production values but how can anyone be fooled by lines like "Even comes with authentic Zucotti Park smell" or "Only use tear gas under adult supervision as directed". It even says in the blurb directly under the clip "Slate V imagines [i.e. not real] a special edition Lego..." and is listed as Comedy. Anyway, whatevs, well done to the makers.

  • @Luduveco they are being sarcastic cant you take a joke?

  • Hell no to this toy.I am not impressed. This is terrible we have been through pain to fight for our rights. Our children have been hurt our soldiers have come home and are losing their homes. Our senior citizens have been on the street in pain. This makes me sick.People over money will get these greedy bastard out of America.Come on America please people over money will set us free.

  • OMFG, some people think this shit is for real. It's satire you fucking morons! Ha ha ha, no wonder your system is collapsing you idiots!

  • 24 people who disliked this video smell >:(

  • I'm sick of boring Legos! Where can I buy THIS Lego!!!

  • Some of you don't get it. This is a parody of the nonsense that the 1% wants to teach our kids. This is in support of OWS. At the end, they equate OWS with Arab Spring.

  • Comment removed

  • @FunkFight1 The arab spring was a total failure, just look at Egypt and Syria now.

  • THis is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you LEGO for teaching kids that OWS was a bunch of lazy, whinning socialist, savages who hate this country.

  • @pdglock19 Ok Mr. O'Reilly. Whatever you say.

  • @pdglock19

Ahh the old catchphrase of the neo-capitalist scumbag. Anyone that questions the pooling of money and wealth must be a socialist who hates the USA. Time to get some new material, this is getting quite stale.

Go read a book on economics before commenting dickhead.

  • Where is the casual pepper spray cop?

  • @AtomicDetailing It's in the Davis - Mace Blvd LEGO set!

Give them a "Mic Check" of over 14,000,000 Scoville units right in the kisser!

  • "This drum circle is getting loud, and smells like dirty bandaids."

  • @MarquisGemini "made in china"...

  • i hope this is a sarcastic spoof or ill be very disappointed in my own country for manufacturing this...

  • @actyme Really? Does anyone read descriptions or credits, for that matter?

  • LOL

  • Haha - I like the tiny disclaimer at the bottom "Only use tear gas under adult supervision" LOL!

  • I'm a Lego-man and I find this offensive

  • 22 people are skinny jean wearing hippies who need to take a bath, get a haircut, and find a job instead of pursuing a worthless cause. LEGOS ROCK!!!!

  • @cheddybumpkins This bothers me and I'm not a skinny jean wearing hippie who needs to take a bath and find a job :)

  • @cheddybumpkins Thank you, TROLL! Who is paying for you to come and argue with the supporters? The President, lobbyists, GM?

  • @simonsbuddy ows protesters ARE smelly layabouts with nothing to do other than cause civil unrest and divert city / police resources that could be used to stop other crimes. The crime rate in other areas of NY city skyrocketed because police had their hands full dealing with this unruly bunch of assholes. Its people like you that encourage them and dont get that the only goal from these people is to create a scene and cause civil disorder under the guise of "a cause".

  • @matt73114 The wall street protestors were almost exclusively peaceful. Bloomberg decided to repress their first amendment rights to free speech by assigning completely inappropriate numbers of police to monitor Zuccoti park and OWS protests. The fact that crime rates in the area may have risen because of Bloomberg's exercising a police state to suppress peoples' rights is Bloomberg's fault, *not* the fault of people who are speaking out about problems they perceive in this country.

  • @matt73114 Do you want your rights to be taken away, and to become more of a slave every year? Oh wait, you're already working for the 1% as a stinkin' TROLL!

  • @matt73114

I see you are one of those people that thinks "doing it tough" means only one serving of dessert.

The opinions of the pampered and sheltered upper-class are bias therefore invalid.

  • FUND THIS.

  • 18 people can occupy mi nightstick

  • Yes, it's cute, but written from the WRONG POV...clearly supports the police and

treats the OWS movement as smelly layabouts, worthy of being beaten up and jailed.

This is sad...you missed the point completely...or maybe you just like seeing the 1% quash the rest of the 99%.

  • @simonsbuddy Dude they're being sarcastic. You missed the point!

  • @CivilianJones To me it looks like they are chasing views and couldn't care less about taking sides.

  • @simonsbuddy Thatsthejoke.png

  • @simonsbuddy satire... look it up.

  • @simonsbuddy No they are not being sarcastic, AND you are not 99%. You are not even 20%. People make money by working, not by getting stuff for free for the Government. You don't have anybody to blame that you don't have any dough but your self.
