@bradkrit The grip has a replaceable backstrap. Flash hiders don't go on barrels without threads. But any good gunsmith should be able to thread a barrel for ya.
@MrMugstone I'm glad you were able to deduce this from the way I put the "parts inside." I was only able to figure it out by the linear ratio of bangs to squeezes.
Also meant to say, like the color combo, said you were painting it camo-? Im not a camo guy mysef, but I see the appeal of it, looks great also - blacks been done to death-lol I see now those are "Knipex" pliers, have to locate a pair of those, very useful for clean hammeri free roll pin installation - im an ex mechanic, surprised ive never seen those before. Another handy thing to hold that front roll pin detent and spring is a utility knife blade - worked good for me, as does your method.
Nicely done, ive only just built my 2nd AR and I love the simplicity and reliability of the design. I actually wanted to press in the pins as you did, but all I had was channel locks and was worried about breaking an ear as they wouldnt press in a straight line like those pliers you have, >what brand / kind of pliers are those?<-- I'd like to find a set, theyre perfect for the job. Thats a nicely dont assembly, not a mark on it, I didnt want marks so taped everything before using drift punches
great video! I put my PSA lower together by watching this. Thanks!!

Great video. Two questions: Is your grip split near the top? Is it hard to get a flash hider on a barrel with no threads?

Great video. Awesome tip on using a mag instead of buying a block.

@WinThePennant They certainly work. While a bench block is best a Pmag does the trick :)

Great video - did you paint the parts for the lower green, or did you order them in green?

Also, putting teflon tape on the buffer tube thread works wonders as well. Lock-tight works too. I don't stake anything and everything works fine.
