  • That sounds really good. Who needs subwoofers? I like the way it has a sort of horn-loaded transmission line/port, it really brings out the bass, I'll have to try this myself.

  • It's amazing how many people put time and effort into well made cabinets that sound worse than this. I wouldn't try putting anything heavy on it, spilling a drink on it or lighting a match anywhere near it, though. The ultimate "no thought, no work" speaker enclosure would just be a wall between 2 rooms.

  • i also do this ^^

  • carve one out of rock.then i would be amazed

  • @CobraProductionsTV Funny you should say that, some companies do make the boxes out of such materials!

  • time to go green..

  • It's a transmission line terminus, thank you.

  • whats the first song?

  • have you tried some cardboard horns? This is a great technique for prototyping and experimentation.

  • ahh what i thought. a GM OEM whizzer cone. never underestimate a gm whizzer for sq. some are really good.

  • Yep. Had some from my moms Astro. Really good, but the surround was rotted off and I didn't wan't to replace the surrounds on them.

  • ahhh here we go. the vid i was looking for. "well up to 34 secs anyways". a full range paper wizer cone speaker. now thats sounds good and warm. coaxial treble spammers suck.

  • hey i do this stuff all the time you should watch my toy cars one lol it's tight i think the bass might sound better in a sealed box versis that giant port you have in the back it's probably killing your bass hey if you need to have a port use paper towel rolls or tp rolls the tube shape makes all the difference really then just tape them in you could try packing it w/ insolateing stuff like the pink stuff to lower th hz

  • this was a transmission line, not a port.

  • lol u should see mine im going to upload it later but it resonates like crazy

  • that cameas lens is bad but is microphoine sound sounds like it a tv camera one

  • its a 7 frames per second camera with a standalone desktop PC mic.

  • put your organ speaker in a cardboard box

  • how do u make that stuff?

  • with a utility knife and some old drivers.

  • This is the greatest stuff I've seen in a very long time lol !

  • thankyou

  • play a difent song something that would pound

  • i would, but i took that thing apare a long time ago.

  • o icic

  • ill do that in the next cb speaker vid.

  • Seriously, it would sound better in a wood enclosure and same size as that.

  • i know, but i couldnt make it in half an hour or less:)

  • i do the same thing

but mine isnt as good as yours

does it have to be all sealed up ?

  • it can be whatever you want, but if you have a sealed cabinit, it can resonate beacuse of pressure.

    by the way, thanks

  • also, the cabinit design in this video is called tri trix, it wasn't seald. the duct tape was to prevent resonating

  • What do you mean when you said "frankensub!"

  • i was refering to how your subwoofer is made from other subwoofers. frankenstien subwoofer.

  • cool, what were they?

p.s. you are my first commenter. thankyouthankyouthankyou

  • i always do this, once i put 2 12" woofers in a refreigerator box, lol, it was pretty loud too.
