Marluxia was trying to use Sora to bring down the Organization, he forced Namine to alter Sora's memories, in particular replacing Kairi with herself in all of Sora's memories of Kairi. That way, Marluxia could threaten Namine unless Sora did what he wanted

She does like sora(and Sora kinda likes her too
but he LOVES Kairi)but that's not why she does
it((though that's probably another smaller reason why)).The reason was basically so they
could send Namine in with thinking she was who
kairi was and...yeah I don't really know how to explain it all that well sorry
