My name is Fernando and I am a conductor of a choir in Brazil. I would like the score of the songs of "Lady Gaga" because I can not in Brazil. Thanks If you want Brazilian music, I'm here!

i wish i could enjoy this more, but its hard to enjoy the performance when its recorded with an audience, all the people cheering and wooing kind of ruin it for me :|
first time i see an acapella with a conductor. This makes the performance look really nerdy. And don't use microphone if nobody's gonna check the volume, all we can get in this video is the soloist and the beat.
BTW, why having someone conduction when one you girls is laying out a beat to follow? This is plain stupid...
To my knowledge, all choirs have (and nééd!) a conductor. The ones I have sung in definately wouldn't have been any good without one. The conductor is the one who makes sure that everyone keeps the same timing, crescendo, and pauses. In small groups it is certainly possible to work without one, but the larger the choir or orchestra becomes, the sloppier the overall timing becomes without a conductor.
@musicismylife17blue they usually do. there's a time keeper and they may or may not do dynamics at the same time, but her movements are bigger and she stands out from the group more so it's just easier to notice it here.
@poopoopoo123ify it shoukd not be that noticeable. in every group I've ever been in we never had a conductor or "time keeper" we have people to give certain cues but not to keep time or a conductor...look at groups like the real group or new york voices or most college acapella groups :)
@musicismylife17blue the one i'm in has a time keeper, and the other groups we've performed with have one, and most of the college videos i've seen have one. you just have to look for it, but like you said she shouldn't be that noticeable.
Alot of the people are dissing the lead for being annoying, but I think she has a fine voice. Her problem is she didn't get into character enough. I mean, if you're going to sing GaGa, you must become GaGa. Solid arrangement.
Is there any way I could get the arrangement for this piece? I'm in a high school a capella group and our girls are dying to do this song, and we loved your performance.
Btw. good job Girls. I love lady gaga and you guys did great job trying to be original but still staying true to the nature of the song. I had an issue with the background vocals. Individuals seemed to be competing to be heard which makes the sound less cohesive than i'm sure it could be.. You guys are family! you all get credit! otherwise great job! I've always been a fan!!
@ccaymong... actually the GOOD groups dont...lol. I was in a high school accapella group that was 3rd in nationals... and we didnt have a conductor...Actually the ones DID make it to nationals last year didnt conduct at all... If youre good, you should naturally feel and hear the beat without being distracted by those arms... sorry to like refute your biggest "fact" of your argument but it needed to be done
sounds really good, but you really don't conduct a capella groups. beatboxers keep the beat and time, and if she's gonna conduct, maybe she should use an actual time, not thrusting her hands forwards and backwards.
SUCH a drum major way to conduct. Way to go marching band! I agree with you...I don't really like when acappella groups are conducted. The best acappella groups I've seen (including VocalPoint) don't do it.
Agreed, many a cappella groups have so much chemistry and have a great musical sense and beat, they just feed off the energy from each other. (that includes most of the groups I've seen (:)
It's very rarely that I see a vocal group with this much energy performing. I love it! The kinetics are amazing, and the back parts are very percussive. The lead is a powerhouse, too.
This is great, its amazing how the singers in the background sound like actual instruments!! SOLOIST: AMAZINGGGGGGG<3 i love this song and i love the way you guys just sang it! WAY TO GO!
eeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh no not really. for acappella groups the only rythym kept is with the beatboxer. easier to just feel it. her conducting in a performance like just looks stupid. maybe thats just me though.
It helps maintain the beat, at the beginning it helps them keep the proper beat by her conducting, because if it goes off the moment they start then they have no chance in fixing it.
@shirkenXCCR A Cappella is an arrangement of voices. If you notice, they have no music in front of them, all they have is their voices and what they have in their heads. The conducting is a helpful way to keep together and a reminder as to what the singers should be doing.
@Finndabhair13 yaya i understand that but a cappella groups like these arent really serious and are there just to entertain. each vocalist should have there music already memorized from practice. theres no reason to have her keep time because people should be listening to the beatboxer. it just draws attention away from the performance you know.
ladies!! this is fantastic! it takes a lot to pull this one off a cappella, but yall did it 100%. great arrangement, soloist, and all around stage presence:) love from the uva new dominions
