you would have heard this on WPRB,too. I bought a lot of stuff on the strength of the cover art or name of the band. The 2 albums were great, but not punk like this. I never got to see them. Thanks for sharing.
Bought this record by pure chance, one rainy afternoon on the (deserted) King's Road. The only other person in the shop was a tweedy Elton John (with BernieT.) who had stepped out of his Rolls Royce.
Good record, original stuff from the fresh era of Punk!
yes,saw every gig from 76,2 singles,2 albums.masterpieces.astounding live act.eddie amazing, best band that never made it.where is eddie and kieth vas?i know eddie got into dance music, became a carpenter and involved with the green party.eddie was a genius.
I seem to know this track very well! - was it a regular John Peel played track and did I see them at Reading Rock Festival? - if so, I have feeling that they were canned off? It's a few beers ago, so the brain cell links are finding it hard to tell me anything. Thanks for the post! Ren.
My brother in law played drums in this band,Mike Nichols....

After a little research - yes, I did see them at Reading Rock Festival in '77.

And it was the Electric Chairs that got canned off.

I was there, cans and sods of turf were hurled at the electric chairs, maybe because of wayne county's homo obscene act.

I first heard it in Eric's club in Liverpool in the 70's and pretty sure I heard it on John Peel's show - great times.
Glad you like it.
