Watseka theatre watseka illinois is a historic 1931 art deco 375 seat theatre located 92 miles south of Chicago. They have great country music concerts in 2011; Marty Stuart on July 2; Bellamy Brothers on July 15; Josh Thompson on August 5; Ricky Skaggs on August 26.
My Grandfather was a locomotive engineer for the Illinois Central. He pulled both frieght and passengers. He was an engineer on the City of New Orleans. His name was Donald Legere. He passed away in 1984.
As a experienced boiler operator, its interesting how this coal burners worked back then...it was hard work...so can someone who drove these tell me if they had auto loaders, though the loader still had to load the coal hopper..I was just wondering....
i remember this when i was 5!! that show was called All Aboard narrated by Howard GOodwin. The show ended at the end of 2001. It was probably the best show i ever watched. at the end of the intro 1077's whistle blasts twice enhancing the title.
