The shoe size printed inside a shoe is meaningless today.
Concientious shoe clerks should follow the "rule of thumb" -- there should be a thumb-width between the end of the longest toe & the end of the shoe. Any less room is too short -- this goes for kids & adults.
The video hasn't addressed the importance of arch-length either (correct alignment of the ball joint), nor width at the ball of the foot as well as the heel.
