Are they going to have these lights again this year in 2011 because i wanted to go see these lights for my birthday * september 18th * i wanted to leave school for a week to stay in new york and see the lights and have my birthday over there :) Can someone please help me?

When I lived in New York I was able to see it from my house in flatbush, brooklyn. Its a truly wonderful site and it can be seen from almost anywhere in the city

Correction, the tribute lights were originally placed at the site where the wtc were.

Due to construction, they had to be moved. They are now atop the Battery Park City parking deck (very close by) the wtc site. There are few places where the required space is available to place these lights, so atop the parking deck accomodates this occasion every year.
