  • fuck you this isnt the Who

  • I reaLly love this video, I think ppl really need to sit down and watch these more often.

  • Yet again religion being shoved down my throat. I would actually believe more if there were less people like the ones who made this video!

  • @littlemiss1 no one forced you to watch this but to each his own

  • @TheOrchaDork And let me guess; You're one of those "Jesus christ loves us" people? If someone posts a video that has information on it then another person has the right to critisize it. This is not a case of 'your music sucks' there is info. on this video so therefor a person has a right to their opinions in a comment. HOW SILLY YOU ARE.

  • @littlemiss1 thats why i said it was your opinoin thats what to each his own means so i am sorry if i offended you.

  • now i am 15 and i believe in 'a god' yes im christian. i dont believe you have to go to church every sunday. pray every day. i dont belive that. i think if you just have a true understanding and believe in god that he will reward you in the end. no i dont have any proof to tell yens that god is real nor do i have any to tell you that hes fake. let us teens be teens and stop throwing so much statics at us.

  • i'd like to know where these numbers come from.

  • just because a person or a teenager is not religious doesn't mean they are a threat to society, or a bad person. the fact that this is what you are expressing through your videois quite disgusting. can we say propoganda?

  • these statistics mean nothing without documents.... i can say that 99% of people love me because im gay... but if I don't have a statistics then its bullshit... like that whole video... God has caused more pain in my life and in the life of thousands then he has ever done good.... people use god to oppress and demean human beings and I will take no part in this "christian" behavior

  • All the shit on religion is incorrect.

  • this was a great video

  • The stats don't really mean anything in terms of the correlation between religion and suicide, drugs, etc.. For example, (I'm just going to make this up) let us say 30% of teens use heavy drugs. Let us also say that 30% of teens do not believe in a God. What is the percentage of the people who do/don't believe in comparison to each other? You need to include some of the marginal distributions.

You also need to cite these stats & explain how you collected the data.

  • Also, what was your equation to conclude that 4% of teens will be "committed Christians"? What do you consider a "committed Christian" and what are the current stats? The raw data would be even better so everyone would be able to see the LSRL for themselves.

  • I have also read and seen that same thing myself about 4% of teens will be committed Christians from the various videos that have Ron Luce and his organizations on YouTube. I think he also stated that fact in the book Battle Cry as well.

  • @westholmes2001 That didn't answer my questions though. I can't accept it as a fact unless more information about the data is presented.

  • What are your sources? You should never post statistics without sources, it makes it look like you made this up.

I'm not trying to be mean, just take it as criticism... >.>

  • Religion is merely a form of controlling the people, not that's it's entirerly a bad thing. Control is generated by fear. If people fear a God they are more inclined to prevent themselves commiting crimes.

  • I have personally seen what god has done in my life and others who are Christians with out a doubt so i am focusing on what is true and its a personal relationship with Jesus. im sorry for your narrow opinion but you are entitled to one.

  • did you know that religious people generally have lower IQ's?

watch "an athiests call to arms"

people dont need religion to lead happy lives

question your faith and look at it from a practical point of view

  • butt what if your wrong! What if there more !

  • i geuss catholic god could be possible but its highly highly unlikely. lots of things could be possible so should we waste time on them all? no that would be impossible. focus on what you're sure to be true and quit living by myths.

  • Well if you look at some of the mysteries of existence themselves then you should see that some sort of creator is necessary. And then when you look at the dynamics of the human soul, and the relationships of real people, then you see that we were created for love, but a different kind of love that's more than what you see on TV or in a movie. Love that I couldn't even describe if I had a whole book to fill. Read the gospel of John for a taste. It's a good one.

  • But yeah, faith is a choice. And you shouldn't feel forced into it. It's not something that you can truly accept with force (hence God's lack of violent power in today's world). Just know that truth is truth, no matter what you believe. (I'm talking to myself as well)

  • @todler68 I believe this person as well as I can agree it is "Acceptable risk"

Think about it, your saying out of countless thousands of religions (all lacking sufficient evidence to prove which one is correct), not only your religion is the ONE TRUE religion but also your INTERPRETATION of that one religion is also correct.

Personally, I've read the Bible and read what your "god" did. If he allows slavery, genocide , destruction of cultures to occur I would rather burn in hell then serve him.

  • @0WarXHawk0 The Bible has more reliable manuscript evidence to back it up than any other ancient text. Don't believe me. Research it yourself. No one claimed that this interpretation is the correct one. Slavery thousands of years ago was indentured servanthood. Basically, people would offer their services to get rid of debt, or to bring in an income. "Slaves" got paid to do it.

  • This was a very eye-opening video, I almost cried. It's really depressing how teens are losing even more and more interest in Christ. Thank you very much for creating this and God bless you!

  • Btw idk y the kids would ask me of all ppl for a cig....i cnt even breathe around them...just sayin cuz i didnt want my last comment to make it look like i smoked...ew. lol

  • this is so sad and it doesnt even get to the worst of it....you said 75% of teens who smoke cigarettes started in the 9th grade....ive had 9 year old kids come up and ask me if i had any cigarettes. At church! Some girls came up to me and offered me a mountain dew which they later told me was spiked with crown oil..At Church! This generation really needs God...2 many teens use church 2 get away from home & their givin church & God a bad name....so sad!

  • it seems to me teens are getting smarter! and yes im not being sarcastic. i hate videos with string christian overtone

  • Smater i dis-agree truth is truth trying to pretend its not there is what most people like you do water it down. As for you opinion on the video i guss i need to be tolerent and by the way im glad you noticed the christian overtones becase i put them there for a reason!

  • wow this was really good! nice job. i like the verses you used in it and the song is one of my favorites.

  • Hey TheTurnish,

this is Jaime one of the creators of this video. Go ahead and use any of these statistics, spread them around, there's no reason to just leave them all here.

and good luck with your video, I'm looking forward to seeing it.

    Have a solid day, yo.

    GenerationEpic90

  • That was amazing!!

I'm actually getting ready to make a similar video... do you mind if I use some of these statistics in it? I'll send you a note with details. =D

  • interesting but it was so focused on god and religion,

i have nothing against christians, but i dnt belive if i was religious all my problems would be fixed and i would be "happy" or that i have to be in touch with god in order to be happy, ahh this is some huge debate that i cba to type on here,

    oh well

  • you're right, but he wasn't talking about religion, he was talking about Christ. About God

  • sooooooooooo true....i pray God saves us all b4 itz 2 late

  • The truth WOW !!! The sad part is most of us are part of the statistic!!!

  • i like the song...but the message is kinda...sad

  • awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, that was sad and inspiring...

  • my generation...

  • Very nicely done! Quite interesting.
