did he use mushrooms while he did the shortcut? and when he did how in the hell did he learn to get drift fast? I have to wait along time to get it, and especially in the dirt road.

of course, I doubt it's possible to do without a mushroom.

About the drift, it depends on the vehicle, character and the angle.

+ You can't drift in the "dirt road", only with a mushroom.

Each character has a bonus. Check Mario Kart Wikipedia. The highest speed bonuses are possessed by Daisy and Funky Kong, that's the reason they're used the most. In the light class Baby Luigi is the fastest. Other characters have other bonuses though, for example Dry Bowser - better drift, etc.

because funky kong is the fastest character in the game with daisy. To do a wheelie you pull up your remote, if you use the gcn controller press the up arrow.

Ganz einfach: Luigis Piste ist eine Speed-strecke, Funky Kong hat Speed-Bonus, und Torpedo ist das schnellste Bike ^^

In my opinion it's not so hard to be good at MKWii, because the main thing there is Item-Luck. >_>

But you need some skill as well, for example : Drift, Using Mushrooms/Shorcuts and so on...

I've got 3 Stars and 9999 Points, but I'm still not so good at this game. =/ If you wanna improve your skill, then you should do more Time Trials ^^
