Viola is Alto (Middle)

String-Bass (Not Bass-Guitar) is Low Bass (Lowest)

Violin is Treble (Upper)

And also a Piano which has notes from Lowest to Highest

Difference between a Viola and Violin is also the highest string and lowest string, Viola can go one string lower but not to the Violin's highest string, and Violin cannot get to the Viola's lowest string

@JayeBad Cello and bass use the exact same clef. I play string-bass, fiddle bass, upright bass, whatever you want to call it, but I can pick up cello music and it just about sound right.

@jaredf246 precisely. the viola has strings with the notes, adgc, as opposed to violins eadg, it also has a deeper and fuller tone, but the violin has a clearer tone. The viola is also slightly larger (16 1/2 inches compared to violin 14 inch) they are also much wider and deeper. I've played both of these instruments for 8 years, and cannot stand it when someone mixes the two up.

Have people forgotten that things can be counted in any time signature? i can count a 4/4 piece in 7/8 or 5/8 and be perfectly correct... it would be annoying as fuck but still possible. The time signature of a piece is usually relative to the feeling of the piece but can be anything really

It annoys me when I ask people if they like Flobots, they say they love them, and the only song they know by them is Handlebars. Not even their best work. It's amazing still, but not as good as this, or Stand Up, and anything else.
