i haven't played this game... yet, but me wants to play it badly. From the looks of it, it looks awesome. i heard the place is similar to Mad Max 2 and Fallout, and the driving and racing gameplay is similar to MotorStorm and Burnout.

But yeah you are right, this is from console, checking your back is always tough job even with good gamepad.

@Martinstyle69 No no.. haha no... thats not the... you have to have the game and be experiencing the problems that go along with it to understand what i was saying. back then the game was 150GB in size, and thats why it looked that good. then after we saw how amazing it looked, they compressed the size down to 21GB in size for the actual release. So im sure you can imagine what something would look like (picture or game or movie) if it was dropped THAT much in size.

@cass959 The irony is that Borderlands used to have a realistic, gritty look to it. I remember way back when they first announced it. Then they decided to add shaded pixels to everything just to have it stand out from the crowd. It already stood out in my view with the RPG and randomization features in a shooter. But anyhow, still a great game--particularly with friends.

The only resemblance this game has to Borderlands is the post apocalyptic theme. Honestly Borderlands sucked. It was tasteless, vulgar, monotonous, and the cartoonish feel made it hard to take seriously. I mean Bad Ass Skags and midgets? Really? However, Rage looks polished and well put together with deep environments to explore. Did you notice the realistic hit reaction physics? All in all, this game looks like it has a lot of potential.

Borderlands had a good art style because it was unlike the other shooters that came out that year. Sure the semi-cartoonish style makes for lower fidelity, but it looks more artistic. This game is like borderlands, but it's art is much much better
