@wattamack4 Wow, you really know your stuff. I think your right on the short one but i can't remember who did the tall one. Maybe it will pop into my head.
@prjacobs1 Great to hear from you and terrific job on the vocals. Still remember recording this piece at Nola studios in NYC. It was a blast. What are you up to these days?
@albumation We're still writing music for kid's TV. For the past 10 years, I've been the musical director of Between The Lions, a PBS show that teaches reading skills. Hey..... Let's do some more stuff!
For the rest of the world.... This is pre computer. Just musicians playing real instruments without any time correction and singers singing without pitch correction.
@prjacobs1 My wife takes care of an autistic woman in our home. Every morning she watches Sesame Street. When Tall - Short Texan comes on, my wife plays it full blast! We love it here! Thank you.
That's really nice to hear. Sesame Street is so far reaching, that we never know just who might hear one of our songs, and what effect it may have. Regards to your wife and I'll now imagine her turning up the volume on "Texan" with a smile on my face.
Yeah, it does. If '91 sounds right to you, I'll agree with that =)
BTW, Fantastic animation here! Definitely one of the best '90s Sesame animated pieces, if not THE best. Your designs are simple (in the best sense of the term) and you animate them so smoothly and cinematic.
can anyone tell me what episode this played in?

By the way, I can tell Jerry Nelson is the short texan, but is that Paul Jacobs doing the tall one?

That was great ! I love the contrast between the drawings of the Tall Texan and the Compact Cowboy. And how can you go wrong with Can Can Cows?
