So true... I've started cleaning up my diet, and MAN, I used to LOVE fast food... My favorite being the Double Stacker from BK... Ugh, after only a month of eating well, those double stackers taste so fake and gross... I hear ya on the butterfinger thing...
course ;) don't you know...all of us girls are watching your every move, I thought it was cute btw ;) haha. .....Serioulsy..looove the vids though...think I watched like 10 tonight and posted some on FB for freinds. :)
I know what you mean with the candy bar tasteing like shit. Same thing happened to me after avoiding all the dead food for three months. Also i had the same experience after i stoped using fluoride paste, i went on a trip and forgot my toothsoap so i had to use fluoride toothpaste. It tasted like shit a sorta chemical taste.shiver. so i spit it out and bought a bottle of hydrogen peroxide and just rinsed my mouth with that. check out brushwithsoap. co m for a non toxic fluoride free way to brush
Hi Tim, I am impressed by your passion of sharing the right message. I love your intention and and your conclusion blessings or "Love, happiness, health and peace" is one that speaks from your "heart". Yes, my dear friend of mine how shared with me that her husband got her 10 yr old son this book as he is attempting to loose weight. He is training tennis daily aspiring to be a pro in the future. His coach has pointed out that he need to loose weight to improve his mobility and stamina. Blessing
Granted they were sliiiiightly better options, but still not healthy either way! I thought it would have, "eat a grilled lean ground chicken burger instead of beef." I still haven't given it to him
I agree that this book is pure bullshit...you pick it up and it SEEMS to give you hope, that you can eat junk food with out taking responsibility for your own nutrition, that the corporate/industrial/farming complex really is concerned with your health (though they own most of the hospitals and health organizations), and that eating cooked, dead food all the time is a good thing, which APPEALS to a childs' sensibilities. Just goes to prove down every street there will be someone to clap for you.
i saw a bit of face in this one! just a bit! and i have to see, the face looked as amazing as the body...which is pretty amazing. ;) keep up the good work. We appreciate your input!
I saw the book at Target months ago. At a glance I knew garbage when I saw it. I opened it up and within about 30 seconds, I put it back down. This book tells you not to eat a certain garbage "food", only to replace it with an alternate garbage "food".
Really, I guess I have you all wrong then sorry bout that. People definitely don't know what eating healthy is I agree with ya. Most people think that eating healthy is "I didn't have two pieces of cake today, I only had one, I ate healthy today" lol I think I need to see your face, I think thats what through me off. I can't trust someone I can't look in the eyes lol jk
no I don't get the impression you're miserable. I just think someone can achieve physical fitness and still have some lets say pizza or something with some friends ever once in a while as long as they are eating healthy most of the time. It is a lifestyle change though. I agree with that.
I guess I'm wondering what gave you the impression I promoted anything different; my subscribers know I eat pizza almost every Sunday night. The challenge becomes helping people understand what "eating healthy" actually means; many people, if not most, have been mislead in these areas, and that's what I'm here to help correct.
great body, a little extreme and unrealistic. I bet he never goes out to eat. Yes you can't expect to be single digit body fat if you don't eat healthy but one can achieve physical fitness and indulge on whatever you want every now and then. It works for him and I applaud that but to eat like this guy most would have to be completely O.C.D. when it comes to food. Sounds miserable to me.
Wrong attitude. (BTW, I went out to eat last night and ate a salad w/chicken breast). What is "extreme" is when people believe that my form of eating is dysfunctional, as you suggest. People are eating either literal toxins, or foods that ACT toxic in the body. THAT is what makes people "miserable"...NOT eating good food that gives real nutrition and a sense of well-being. Sugar highs are fun, but the addiction to it is not. Do you get the impression in my videos that I'm "miserable?"
A semi-favorite shirt I've had for a LONG time, a duel-material, VERY warm; has a heat-trapping fiber on the inner fabric. You can see the lighter color when I lift it. Bought it at Structure, which I believe now goes by "His Express" (they have a "Her's" as well).
While its hard to eat healthy at some fats food restaurants, most have at least a few items that won't ruin your diet. We simply need to be aware of the nutrition charts at fast food restaurants, which they will provide if you ask, and most have on display. Some places like subways even advertise their healthy selections to make it easier for us to make good choices. The nutrition charts also help up avoid choosing foods way high in fat. As someone who's father died of a stroke, I know the risks
I applaud your comment below, but would reply to the one above by saying that the charts offered leave a lot to be desired. Thanks for the input tho, kudos. :)
I agree, and most people haven't and won't educate themselves about how to read food labels as it is. I work at a theater and, a obese women who had lost 100 bought a large popcorn and large soda, and then made an excuse about how the other folks out there didn't understand how hard it was for people like her, and how she couldn't resist having some pop corn. I said to myself, she could have had smalls, and not come back for refills. She said she gained some of her weight back, I wonder how much
I completely agree with you, even the candy, cookie, &chip companies get into the act, by saying a product has less fat, or less cars, while its still high in sugar or other ingredient that contributes to being over weight, bad health, etc. An example is TV diners, even most brands claiming to be healthy contain hydrogenated veritable oils. Of course other brands are vary high in salt & sugars as well. Read the label to find those without hydrogenated vegetable oils, & with low salt and sugar
...so it's not that the book is saying the best things to eat are candy and cupcakes. He's just saying, if you're going to do it, at least pick the lesser of the two evils in the situation.
Now I've been a subscriber of you for a long time, so I already understand your stance, but Tim, you have to realize, not everyone can go from a 0 to a 10. It's a progress. Get them off the cup cakes first, then take the skittles away.
I disagree with this stance. That is like saying "get the alcoholic on beer first, then take the vodka away." Junk food is an addiction and must be treated as such. The research into how dopamine receptors respond to food is well studied. This was half the point of my video where I explained how candy is now handled by my body; by needing to purge it promptly. I know people personally who realize they have an addiction, and not treating it as just that will forever prolong their progress.
I agree with you Tim. If people really want to stop things that harm their body they have to sacrifice those kinds of foods. Your not going to die if you don't act upon those cravings, it just might help you live a longer healthier life. Temptation lasts a few mins. If your patient enough, those cravings would pass.
Hey, for the record...I love all my subscribers a great great deal and welcome opinions and alternate insights, as well as debate. It was a topic I felt strongly about based on my research and experience; I always welcome, and thank you for, your comments.
As mentioned in my text field, it still boils down to "the lesser of two evils, is still evil." I was not aware there were that many in a series, and it's easy to understand why. It is giving people the opportunity to have an excuse for eating poorly, and that is just not something I will ever approve of. It goes far beyond mere fat and weight loss, delving deep into the accumulation of disease and illness on multiple levels. Shame on them for even having such a series.
this book is a pain .a picture book for idiots.. i know a lot of idiots that bought it....TOTAL nonsense-. the guy who wrote it is on all the early morning shows peddling his book... you cant get anywhere if you hold back. let loose--. frozen-food /restaurants know the ratio of fat to salt that make foods literally as addictive as any drug... its all deliberate. population control maybe- or profits in medicine. something stupid- peace shelly. (i gave out crayons and pencils on Halloween) smile
Thanks so much for the input, and GREAT Halloween idea...had it ever been my house, I would never hand out the typical candy, there's no way I could live with myself. If I move next year, I look forward to finding an alternative for the kids.
wow, so glad I came across this video. I was seriously thinking of buying this book....I wont be anymore. So thanks for saving me :)

Tim,
I'm at 4:09 on your VID, and I wanted to stop you for a moment and interject here.
First, I know exactly where you're coming from on this, but I think where David Zinecko (sp?) is coming from in this book is, sorta like this:
"look, if you're going to eat candy, though I'd rather you didn't, but if you're going to do it, then here, Eat this One, Not That One."
That's really the premise of the series of the Eat This Not That Books, the one you saw, is actually the 5th in it's series.
