Cheaper made than the Mx Rev , even less buttons, no Replacement to the Best Mouse ever made .. plugging in the Usb lead? you may as well look for a wired mouse .

So, how does it rate in comparison with the revolution? I've checked them out in stores and they feel different to me, not to mention the lack of the side scroll. (if you have reviews on this I'm sorry I don't see them in the related vids and I'm not going to look any further lol) also is there going to be another new mx type mouse coming out soon that I should wait for or should I go with the performance or revo?

In many years i've bought just Logitech mouse... they are perfect but, the real problem is the grime between the buttons. My G7 is the best mouse that i've found, but it has that problem.

I need a new mouse now, and this Performance MX seems a good successor, but i don't like that damned wire to charge the battery.

Laptop wakes up from sleep mode while the lid is closed when I forget to power off the mouse and accidentally move it. Is there a way to power off the usb ports on sleep mode?

Great review. I think it's great when he gets excited. I did too with such cool features. I think they resolved every mayor thing except the usb receiver. SInce the receiver is tiny why can't you insert it in the mouse you carry both together(the new usb receiver is easier to lose!)? I now there is the leather bag but that's extra stuff to carry. I'm not sure but I think I saw a little space in the rechargable batteries. Not sure though.

Also, there's no way I'd buy this mouse without a charging dock! Okay, you can charge and use at the same time but cables all over my desk! NO WAY. I'm keeping my Logitech MX Air, which is why I couldn't do without a dock!

Some people had succes with USB OverDrive in Snow Leopard

the thing being that the PrefPane is only a shortcut so you do need to launch by hand the app "USB Overdrive X.app (in "Application Folder")"

I have yet to recieve my SL copy, to test it myself, but there is no way I'll start to use the sh**y Logitech drivers even if they update it for SL unless ther remake It from scratch

you can have multiple new generation Logitech "wireless" devices connected to that type of dongle.

This mouse uses bluetooth technology to connect to the computer. If you think that is using an radio wave like wi-fi you are wrong, a wireless mouse has to use bluetooth connectivity because it's the only technology that would allow to connect more than one divice into another device.

I understand what you are saying but it's still under Bluetooth technology, I don't think there is another technology out there besides bluetooth and wi-fi. I believe they use bluetooth but is on a higher level, that's why we (mac users) can't connect it to the imacs.

my experience is that wireless mice that are not bluetooth and that are logitech are the best, i have HP wireless mice and its terrible, i wont buy anything else other than wireless logitech mice ! pure quality, bluetooth mice, keeps disconnecting !

call me odd but id rather stick with the apple mighty mouse but this is a nice unboxing it looks like a nice mouse but i personally have no need for so many buttons. i do like the cable port though (easy switch between wired and wireless) and the leather case is just amazing as it can be reused for a pencil case for back to schoolers and stuff too
