Sucks but when I see stuff like this I am glad I bought Spektrum with model matched. You can hear him say he pick the wrong model. Futaba radio have model memory but its only for the settings and you can basicaly fly with the wrong settings if you are not carefull just like in this video. Glue her and get back in the air.

My young son flys a Corsair and I give him hell when he crashes it. He'll give back to me when I crash a much bigger plane. We both learn..He's just faster.

I know how it is... I converted las year a Guilllows 30'' WS F4U Corsait it was balsa wood model, I put brushless on it and 4 channle radio... It was crashed cause of bad battery connectors... It was 6 months build, but my son was happy anyway cause it is 4-th flight and first 3 was amazing.

Easy fix Bra , but get you a high wing trainer to start . I have the same plane and I would not turn it over to a rookie not that it does not fly well its just that its very touchy. also find a club and join, its way more fun to be at the field with guys that can fix you're plane and ego at the same time. In my club we would never have let you fly a Corsair as your first plane ,

I always keep a park friendly trainer in the truck to help guys like you, and as a backup for me I CRASH too.

LOL thats exactly what happened to mine! was so anxious to fly it, forgot to check my controler trim and my aileron was all the way to the left so as soon as i launched it, it banked and went it... it was foam to so pretty much destroyed it... thats the quickest $250 ive ever blown away.

usually its the pilot's fault when a plane crashes, weather its inverted controls, power faliure, its the pilot's fault.

so don't go sayin "i picked the wrong model"

ps: nothin a little glue and packing tape can't fix :-)

a very knowledgeable flying buddy of mine, yeah, he's real old, thats why he knows these things, always sets up his models the same, by that i mean no reversed servos,and all the trims zeroed,no sub trim dialled in, starting to see it now? its great to have 10 model memory on the tx, but damn, were only human!,any way, when its your turn to have a bad day, the worst you get is a poorly trimmed plane and hopefully a recoverable situation, looks repairable though, keep flyin!
