ATI 4870X2 Q9550@4.1GHz CRYSIS BENCHMARK DX9 HIGH 1680X1050

Oh hey. I currently have an intel e8400, a 4870x2 and 4gb ram. I'm getting the same processor (e0 rev, too) really soon and I wanna make it run at 4.1 too. Tell me exactly all voltages that you applied in the bios and the multiplier & fsb too. Also, tell me please, what cooler you are using, and what thermal paste :)

Hey man.

I use 1.34V for the cpu, 1.4 for the nbcore, 1.7V for the fsb termination. That last one has killed some Q9550s so be aware! ;)

i see. That's what i thought and that's the reason i wanted you to make that vid cuz it runs pretty damn shitty on my E4500 aswell ^_^. And hey, just block that Staticxmako. He's really a retard.. He's just a kid thinks his computer is beating everybody else then once he see another computer beating his he have to write bad comments with ugly words. So just block that kid.. I remember for about 4 months ago when he wrote that my 8600gt sucks. It was probably the best OC 8600gt on youtube.

staticxmako today. He is always writing good stuff on my vids. I thought he was a Youtube friend and he made very sad with his actions. One more ugly comment and he is gone.

As for GTA IV, the reason that it runs like crap, is not the CPU alone. I have only 2GBs on that machine and the HDD loads like crazy.

I will put my Q6600 in its place with 4GBs RAM and a new DFI P45 T2RS mobo with PCIe 2.0 slot. All my 4850 videos from now on will be on that machine.

Anyways, i'll upgrade to 4GB ram later and buy a E8500 (mobo does'nt support QUADCORES). u think that will improve alot?. thank you, and merry xmas!

I would suggest to do everything in your power and get a quad core. Take a good look at the processor usage at the end of my latest videos. You will see that all cores are used. Maybe not 100% but if you add it up, you will see that it's quite more than 50%, meaning it would exceed the available cpu power of just two cores.

Then maybe it could be just my 4870X2 that requires that much CPU power. I will make some new vids of the 4850 and my Q6600 so i will have a clearer picture then.
