Jon, I finally made this tonight. What a hit. The sauce was amazing... Even without fresh basil. I browned some chicken breasts in coconut oil, then poured the nearly finished sauce over the chicken, added a handful of freshly grated mozzarella cheese and finished it in the oven at 350 for 20 minutes.
@rawfoodnoob I'm sure we will be doing some thing in the future together again... Julieanna has gotten super busy with her books she's been writing on Vegan / Gluten free nutrition. Don't worry ... we're still cool :)
I was wondering if you have tried using all fresh herbs? And if you feel one way tastes better over the other? I know personally I don't like the taste of dried oregano and itailion seasoning, but I could eat fresh basil all day. Maybe the fresh herbs taste better?
@Jeniferw1n I totally SHOULD use all fresh herbs, thanks for the suggestion! For some reason, only the Basil stood out to me to use fresh... ? Yes, next time I'm going to use all fresh herbs.Thanks!
