  • MUST SEE VIDEO: MeetYourMeat (dot) com factory farms

  • I'm 13 and underweight and I need to gain weight

  • You want to be a vegetarian than grow your own dam food. The food you buy in the store is just as bad if not worse than the food that is bad for you. Its grown with hormones, cloned plants, and sprayed with chemicals. Not only that you help the planet, and you don't need to pay workers to grow your food. Whats pretty sad is when kids can't even have a party at school because people are afraid they will gain weight by eating one cupcake give me a break. My kids not missing out on that.

  • @midwest26 That so very true

  • @midwest26 True and also if you eat that stuff for such a long time it builds up cancer

  • Yeah he cares about a healthy lunch but smokes cigarettes. Looks like Obama says one thing, and does another. He is going down as the worst president ever.

  • HealthySchoolLunches (dot) org help promote

  • if the president is so interested in our chidren's eating habits, why do the NYC pub schools allow soda/snapple machines in the schools?

  • "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; ...commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer." (1 Timothy 4:1-5)

  • HA!! Thank you!

  • Praise the Lord!

  • Well, bless your heart for speaking the truth boldly. Amen.

  • Wow - you religious people are so compassionate. NOT.

  • lol right on, they are blindly missing all the points. Some religions respect all life, for them, ChristianVeg (dot) org has some nice ppl too.

Factory Farms meetyourmeat (dot) com are very cruel even if one thinks it is okay to choose to eat animals, our way of doing so it not moral at all.

Goveg (dot) com/theissues.asp show that it can also reduce world hunger, help our environment and health so much. I guess heart disease is the payback.

  • Hi VegetarianRUS, I was a dedicated vegetarian (and activist) for nearly 20 years before becoming a strict vegan. I gave up meat for compassionate reasons but soon grew gravely concerned for the health of those eating factory farmed creatures due to the chemicals and hormones pumped into them. Two years after being miraculously redeemed by Jesus Christ, the Lord brought me back to eating meat (Genesis 9:3) which He sanctifies by His Word in Jesus' name and by prayer under the new covenant. • I now eat biodynamic white/red meats from open range organic farms where the animals have been raised and slaughtered humanely as the bible instructs (Proverbs 12:10). The human body is in a fallen condition which is why God instructed Noah to eat meat. Without it, the body cannot receive all that it needs to thrive. Vegetarianism/veganism is not a superior choice for the body despite the current trends but is actually considered by God to be a sign of weakness of faith (Romans 14:2). (2)

  • I recommend the following online PDF article on the treatment of animals according to God: "Lutheran Church of Australia: Commission on Social and Bioethical Questions HUMANITY'S TREATMENT OF ANIMALS":

  • Do you mind expounding a little bit?

  • Hi mormanman13, the Lord prophesied in His Word that in the end times prior to Christ's return, a movement would arise teaching abstinence from eating meat. We see this today in the vegetarian and vegan movements which have never before had such persuasive power.

Whilst it is righteous to be concerned for the welfare of animals and people who eat contaminated/modified flesh, it is not necessary to abstain from eating the flesh of creatures reared biodynamically and slaughtered humanely.
