This was a great video! I live in Milwaukee which is right next to Lake Michigan in the USA. Having grown up next to a HUGE body of water, I have to say that I will always have to live on a lake or on the ocean. Water has a magnetic effect on me :)

Morning Sheryle. Well it would be pretty cold and wet out there on the water today. Don't know how those fellows on the freighters take the cold in the winter, until the lakes freeze over and the shipping season ends. Beautiful way to travel in the summer though. :)

Hi Rob..I love lighthouses too. My son collects them. Well, not the real ones but replicas and photos etc. When he was home and we traveled we had to stop and go in every lighthouse he just happened to see. LOL.

I love them too...but my son has us climbing up and down the steps of them all along the coastline for years. We managed to find an artists painting of one we had been through and gave it to him as a gift.

What a lovely idea.. I don't know where my interest stems from, except that on my mothers side, they're all 'old sailors'.. My great Grandad's portrait was in the Maritime Museum in Gothenburg, he was a captain of some ship or other, sailing for the East Indies on route.. :)
