DON'T buy this phone, it's total crap. don't fall for fancy ads and reviews. stay away from it so you won't get disappointed as I am. I have this phone now for a few weeks and I curse the day I bought it.

GPS does not work properly. Camera does not work properly. Phone's OS is glitchy. The is almost NO apps, no games etc for it.

I know why samsung say's that this is Samsung Jet. It's f%^$#*& faster than other smart phones. This phone is equiped with a F%^$#*& FASTER 800mhz quadcomm processor. and this phone is F%^$#*& cheap than nokia smartphones that's only equiped with a 300 - 700mhz ARM11 processor.No one can beat this phone (except iPhone 4 that it's equiped with a 1GHZ Apple A4 processor) sana hindi nga...hehe

This phone is crap. There are almost no apps available because of its OS. When you slide through your photos, the screen does not react immediately, horrible. Additionaly, when I unboxed the phone, it had serious technical issues such as defect speaker and GPS which they could fix after the third service!!! I sent a complaint letter, Samsung never replied. The phone is bad, Samsung's Technical Service and Customer Care is bad, everythins is just bad that is in any relation to this phone.

I believe it is a fake. I've bought S8003 and as all of you are aware on the 'display and light' menu, if you choose 'transition effect' there is only `on` and `off`.Also on the video if you check 00:38 you'll see that he chooses 'organizer' but main screen appears. Isn't that a mistake?

:O god knows what phone you have been playing around with. Samsung jet has one of the most smooth and responsive screens there is other than the iphone.. so get your facts right before posting comments like that to mislead people

ok there fanboy, look who's talking. Im not talking facts, im talking first hand experience, if you held any samsung phone in your hand lately (omnia, jet, S8300.. etc) you would know that they are all laggy and dont register finger swipes, even opening the widgets panel is frame by frame. Either im unlucky to encounter all of samsung's buggy phones, or they are all slow and unresponsive.

So don't tell me about spreading misinformation, just because you want to promote the brand.

well first off i think i should know as i have a jet! I dont think there are any issues with finger swipes or opening widgets etc...

also quite a few of my mates have one and they love it! They totally agree with me that the screen is really responsive and not laggy. Ok fair enough i dont know about the omnia and so on although i have heard that the omnia is a nightmare to work with. But when it comes to the jet i and i'm sure many other people will agree with me on this its's fantastic!

And it would help if samsung released a firmware update.... which they haven't, instead DarkForest had to offer the aftermarket support that Samsung fails to provide.

i have this handset. in the menu you can only turn transition effect on or off and not select a diff transition style....could it be a firmware thing i wonder? te phoen is a let down anyway.. i think.

Omg people! Stop the bickering! We all know the iphone 3GS is super quick and if you don't you just haven't tried it. The Jet can probably keep up with it when transitions are turned off, but I have my doubts. That being said I don't particularly like the iphone, it was pretty astonishing "phone" when it was released, but now it's a bore. For my part, camera still sucks, no memory card, low res screen, to big and way to bound to apple crap.

I am looking forward to trying the Jet! ;)

The clock frequency of a CPU has nothing to to do with it's flops or Mips, thats all architecture. (Remember Intel Netburst?)

I have yet to try the Jet, but I have a feeling that it may be able to compete with the 3GS on a sheer speed basis, but my doubts are high up, because the 3GS is blazing fast, only an ignorant person would say anything else.

I love how companies such as Samsung or Nokia thing an "iphone killer" just consists of a phone with a touchscreen. The OS seems slow and unresponsive, the cube feature is not practical as you can only see one face at a time.

Not to mention that this phone will have no applications like the iPhone and no way of easily syncing your music like iTunes for the iPhone.

I don't even own an iPhone but this phone looks like a piece of shit.
