Do you know any method to jailbreak an iPod Touch 1G running with firmware 2.2.1.

I've an iMac running with OS 10.4 but iTunes will not let upgrade the firmware 3.1.2 eventhough I've dowloaded 3.1.2 on my hard disk.

i figured it out, i just backed up my iphone, restored it then i jailbroke it with the sim card out, once i jailbroke it i just restored it. hope this works for you
