9/11 happened! Dont you remember, the REAL 9/11/2001. The twin towers were hit by terrorist planes, they fell. 3000 people died, and over 300 NYFD and some NYPD!

The episode before this called September 10th showed you that they all found out and reacted... now this episode is suppose to be 10 days later on Sept 21st.

Wow. I don't like Kim's mom very much. Kim is going down there to help because she cares and wants to help find people and help her fellow fire/ems...not for the money. I don't live in NY, but I would have done anything possible to help, regardless if I was getting paid for it. So many people lost their lives, money is not important if you ask me. God Bless FDNY, EMS and NYPD. You guys are truly amazing!

nah, peopole in this profession face it at one time or another. Their families don't like them doing this job at some point. Now, like I have said before, these police/fire/medics are in the busiest system in the world at the most screwed up time in public safety history for the US. So everything is dramaticly increased. But the families have to realize they are doing the job for a reason. Like Faith said, she doesn't know how to not be a cop. Same for every character, especially now.

@KriRenNel I get why her mom was upset, Kim had been through hell before that happened and she didn't want Kim to have a setback. It was stressful enough for the workers, much less someone who had tried to kill herself just weeks before after losing her partner.
