Would really like to here more about the writings of your music. Are you the band and friends writing the music? I Google'd "Who writes Jane Cary's music and nothing came up. If your participant in the writing then I think that is awesome! Even if your not your still a great band... but if you or any of your band are then I think you would do well to make it very clear. It's not about taking the credit as much as it's about defining yourself and your band as truly talented musicians.

furthermore, i know that this band has alot of talent and should be recognized, but i really really REALLY hope that they do not become as mainstream as the crap you hear on the radio now. the fact that their not famous makes them even more special, like a rare thing that you find and fall in love with. i read all these stories about celebrity offspring and their desperation to be famous because of their well-known parents, and i hope jane NEVER becomes like that.
i just bought their album on itunes and my heart just melted listening to it. it's rock, jazzy, and somewhat dark sounding. a very artsy vibe to it. it's amazing. i'm the type of girl that listens to metallica, a perfect circle, and pink floyd, among others...and this band's sound impressed me quite a bit. i don't want to view this girl as "jim carrey's daughter," just a talented artist making music for the pure love of the craft, and that's what the world needs right now...just SIMPLE BEAUTY.

i cant help but visualize jims face in hers. they both have those elastic facial features. jim takes his too an extreme though. but you can notice the potential shes inherited.
